Dear all my fans on QZ...
You'll NEVER EVER EVER guess what that horrible Benn wrote about me in another thread, which i just noticed by chance...
You won't believe that anyone could feel this way about me, so prepare yourself for a bit of a shocker.
I have added my comments to those of dear Mr Benn, underneath, kinda thing, IN CAP LETTERS....
Benn wrote...
Greg's becoming very much like Kevin Pietersen.
I WAS INTRIGUED AT THIS POINT... ENJOYING THE CRICKET OF LATE, AS I HAVE BEEN. AND RATHER LIKING OUR KEV.... BECAUSE HE TRIES VERY HARD, AND I ADMIRE THAT.
No matter how much you try to ignore the fact that he's there, not matter how many times you try to ignore what he says or does, he just won't fucking well disappear.
OH DEAR! THIS ISN'T A GOOD THING, I THOUGHT. BENN MUST BE A BIT PIDDLED OFF WITH ME, HARD AS THAT IS TO BELIEVE.
HE USED THE 'F' WORD, YOU WILL NOTE! AND PEOPLE SHOULDN'T DO THAT. YOU'LL NOT FIND ME USING LANGUAGE LIKE THAT ON A SITE WHERE YOUNG KIDDIES AND SMALL RODENTS PLAY.
Perhaps we should ALL set up another fan forum, leaving Greggy boy to his own devices here.
THAT'S REALLY A BRUTISH THING TO SUGGEST, IN MY OPINION. IT IS BOTH DISCOURTEOUS AND RUDE. AND WHAT'S THAT ALL ABOUT... CALLING ME GREGGY?
ONLY TWO PEOPLE IN THIS WORLD CALL ME THAT, AND YOU ARE NOT ONE OF THEM, YOU OVER FAMILIAR LITTLE MULE, YOU!
IS BENN BEING 'ROMANTIC' IN GIVING ME A BEDROOM-TYPE NICKNAME LIKE THAT. I FIND THAT A DISGUSTING PROSPECT.
CALL ME GB, GREG, SIR, OR QARCH. GREGGY SOUNDS SINISTER COMING FROM YOU BEN, MY BOY! I DON'T CALL YOU BENNY-WENNY, DO I????
Then he can post whatever he likes about whoever he wants to and not have the fear of people not liking what he posts eating away at him every waking moment.
I THINK YOUR GRAMMAR IS NOT QUITE WHAT IT COULD BE, AND THAT, SORT OF THING. YOU HAVE YOUR OWN ISSUES TO ADDRESS DEAR CHAP, CLOSER TO HOME.
BENN... SHALL WE HAVE DRINKS TOGETHER SOON, AND SOME OF THOSE POSH CANOPES THINGS... WHICH THAT SILLY ZEBONKA BLOKE NO DOUBT PRONOUNCES AS 'CANN-OPES'? LITTLE PICKY SNACK FOOD STUFF, I MEAN, ZEBONKA... YOU NOT SO CLEVER PERSON WHO DOESN'T KNOW THINGS LIKE THAT.
COME ON. LET'S MAKE UP, MAKE UP, NEVER NEVER BREAK UP.
YES, I'VE HAD A DRINK. TWO BEERS OUT IN MY GARDEN, WHILE WATCHING THE FROGS. SO NOT EVEN YOU, BENJAMIN FRANKLY, IS GONNA UPSET ME THIS EVENING.
GOOD NIGHT.
OH! HANG ON.... BENN... STOP BEING A PLANK. BE NICE FOR ONCE AND SAY SORRY. AND THEN SAY SOMETHING UNCHARACTERISTICALLY NICE ABOUT ME. TRY TO BE A FRIENDLY GENTLE CONSIDERATE HUMAN BEING, JUST FOR THE NEXT FIVE MINUTES... TO ANOTHER FELLOW CONSIDERATE HUMAN. YOU WILL FIND IT MAKES YOU FEEL GOOD INSIDE... WARM EVEN.
PEACEFUL SLUMBERS TO ALL.

Boohoo.
Regarding King Kev, if you'd ever played cricket against him, as I have, you'd understand exactly what makes him tick and with regard to the similarities between the two of you that are the heart of my posts, there is little difference.
Kev's in it for what he can get out of it - he blows his own trumpet and only reacts to the sounds he himself makes. As long as he looks good, that's all that counts and he'll stop at nothing to push himself forward regardless of the people around him.
Sounds like you a bit, eh Greggle? What with the self-aggrandisation and "I'm the Queen Archivist" bullshit and all?
Say sorry - what for? Have I done something wrong?
Grammar - I ain't bovvered too much here me old mucker; couldn't give a monkeys; don't have the time or inclination to check what I'm writing in all honesty. Perhap's you'd liek to act as a spell-checker for all of us, given the accuracy and intellect of your prose?
The "f" word - yep, used with accuracy. Children ought to have their internet useage monitored by their parents if they're likely to stray on to battlegrounds such as this. Could care less whether it's offensive or not.
Drinks - yes, lets. Would love to Brooksy. I'll buy us both a beer (or would you rather have a Babycham?) You can tell me all about what a great job you do and how poorly treated you are on Queenzone. I can get bored after seconds of listening to your drivel and walk away. Nothing ventured, nothing gained.
Love in my heart - bags of it. Dished it out to a number of women over the years that have simply not been worthy (but cracking in the sack). Also dished it out to a number of blokes in a much less 'intimate' way, but no less heartfelt and have come out of it all with, probably, too many friends to manage. I'm thinking of off-loading a few of the less worthy ones - I can point them in your drection if you like in order to get your numbers up a bit.

Great stuff Ben, far more interesting than that QA twat. Tell us more. Used to play a bit of cricket when I was younger and it's a lot tougher than most people might think. Like most sports, there's definitely a big step up in class between talented amateur and and semi-serious player (or total professional like Kev).

Fuck off, Gregg. I know I've not met you, but you just appear the whiniest little scrote I've ever seen on a messageboard, from all the messageboards I've ever been on. The worst thing about it is that you're not a 12 year old troll, you're a middle aged man who's being as immature and nobbish as these 12 year olds. Get a life and stop caring what people think of you over the internet.

Benn. You are amusing. I cannot deny that.
But I genuinely get the sense that life has dealt you some tough blows which you're just the teeny-weeniest bit resentful about. NOT lots of em, just a few... which tend to colour some of your comments to me, you naughty man.
I mean, for example, it seems to bother you that I have said I do a good job, sometimes. "self-aggrandisation" you call it. But actually, why is that such an issue? It's not the first time you've jumped on this. So it bothers you for some reason you've not yet imparted.
Yes, I have said that. Patted myself on the back sometimes for doing a good job. Don't YOU do that? Are you so British that you think it galling to indulge in "self-aggrandisation"???
Freddie said many times how GREAT the new Queen album was. The girl on Gardeners Weekly last night said her Roses were "PHENOMENAL!" What's wrong with that????????
The Americans love "self-aggrandisation" and we here in the UK shy away from it like the plague.
I was JOKING about the 'F' word, silly chap. Should have thought that was obvious, given the amount of times I use it.
My note to you was tinged with humour. Why not take it in the spirit with which it was intended, instead of being a stiff upper lipped, stiff-headed generally, pompous Brit?
Glad you dished out lots of love from your heart, in other aspects of your life, because here on QZ, on threads I've seen anyway, you come across as a serious, slightly resentful, jealous even, man, whose always out to bring someone down a peg or two. And that's not really very clever or nice, is it. Not to be applauded.
Too STIFF, Ben. Stiff stiff stiff. Lighten up son!!!
Don't look to bring me down a peg or two more. Look for the positive.
And don't be so irritated at what is obviously, underneath, just a bit of fun.
Fuck.
See... I don't mind the F word.

It's hard to detect ironies in texts written by idiots who were never really good with punctuation and generally write everything in caps. You fail to transmit any kind of emotion to your posts other than anger or desperation.

GB... It's hard hard to detect irony in CAPITAL LETTERS if you have a closed mind and fixed idea of what you think is there, and you've already made up your mind about what you WILL find, Raf. As opposed to what you MIGHT possibly find.
The size and format of WORds DoeS NoT mattER. It's OnLY the meaning of the words that matters. Open your mind mate. I know you're only a young chap, who doesn't want to be patronised, but even so, stop being a flaccid willy.

Assumption being the mother of all fuck ups. What would you term a "tough blow"? Also, why would I resent being dealt any harsh blows, had I received any. Life is what it is and no one ought to resent what live deals them IMO.
They might just decide to join a message board and post complete tosh.........

Personally, and you can take what you want from this if you like, I DESPISE people bigging themselves up. Your actions or your work should speak for themselves; if it's worthy of recognition, other people will be the best judges - certainly not YOU Brooksy - given that they, for the most part, have no bias. Whereas, you, judging your own work, will instantly be tainted by bias.
For what it's worth, I thought that the FM box was a great production, but was disappointed by a number of omissions and errors which were avoidable. Having you tell us what a great job you did on it serves absolutely no purpose and doesn't do "the work" any service at all.
>>Freddie said many times how GREAT the new Queen album was.
There was a new Queen album? When? Which one? The Works was a crock of shit - having Freddie telling me that an album full of pop songs and little rock is great just did the band no favours at all IMO. But, again, the work speaks for itself and the creator doesnt need to tell us how good it is or isn't. It either stands up against itself or it doesn't - end of story.
>>The girl on Gardeners Weekly last night said her Roses were "PHENOMENAL!" What's wrong with that????????
Ditto above.
>>The Americans love "self-aggrandisation" and we here in the UK shy away from it like the plague.
Yeah - an ingrained arrogance that they appear to have set in their genetic make-up; never liked it unless it was being displayed bt J R Ewing.........

Trying to spot ANYTHING of worth in what you post is tough at the best of times, so a veiled reference to humour is that much more difficult to spot.
Pompous - again, no idea how you manage to see that in anything I write.

>>Don't look to bring me down a peg or two more. Look for the positive.
You're that one that appears to constantly be elevating himself to the position of some kind of Queen encyclopedia; who has connections and who is of significant worth to the Queen fan base. Fact is that you've done nothing other than slag various people off at certain times (admittedly, under extreme provocation in many cases) and at the same time, even to the people that seem to like you (and good on them!), deliver NOTHING of significant worth or interest on what ought ot be used as an information exchange.
>>And don't be so irritated at what is obviously, underneath, just a bit of fun.
I care about Queen and how they are represented - you're not doing a great job IMO and I'm pointing it out. You take the fun element out of it (other than being mildly amusing in your rants) and it's just a little bit irritating - which I'm happy to be.
Ta ta Greggy

Forget about Russia! We've got our very own war here on QZ.
Guys, can't you tell Greg is lonely?
Just give him a hug and have done with it.

Let's get married, Greg.
