After having several versions of the Hammermsith 1975 Christmas concert, with varying quality and track listing, can anyone help me please in directing me to a definitive version, to end all versions!
I'm after this in reasonable quality, but most important of all, with all of the songs included, the Queen songs which are often missing as well as the rock n' roll medley.

No they don't.The BBC have it.
It was part of the Old Grey Whistle Test.It was a BBC production and nothing to do with Queen Productions.
If QP do have it,then it will only be a copy from the Beebs master reels which was the usual deal as was with Eltons Xmas show the previous year & Rod Stewart's the following year & the Kinks the year after that.

Thanks for your replies guys. I have a good quality version of this - that Japanese one, you know, with the guy giving the intro in Japanese, can't remember the programme name, but it doesn't have Keep Yourself Alive on it, or the medley at the end.
And I've had the Whistle Test one before now also.
The Japanese one with KYA and the medley would be brilliant, as the quality on that is really good.
Does that not exist somewhere?

Send you the lossless cd's ages ago...

You're correct, of course. I was merely taking a dig at QP and how, if they learn of something out there that they don't have, offer you the earth (well, money) to acquire it and then conveniently lose it, say it was stolen (or deny it ever existed) and steadfastly refuse to share it with us, the mere mortals who helped place them in their ivory towers.
The BBC - now there's a story. Technically everything they have in their archives belongs to us, the licence payer. For some lesser programmes you are entitled to ask them for a copy which in the case of a local TV show they actually did supply on VHS to a friend of an old schoolteacher of mine.
They may well 'own' the OGWT Command Performance show from Hammersmith but any attempts to release it to the public will rely upon QP agreeing and that isn't likely to happen, I think we're all in unison on that.
They (the BBC) can't even rebroadcast it in it's entirety (only with edits, I'm told) as they need the permission of QP for that. When they had the Whistle test all-nighter back in the 80s ('85 was it?), despite the Xmas show being voted for for rebroadcast by the viewers, they only showed about 30mins (the second half, IIRC - I'll have to check it out.)

Yes the CDs were lossless ,but lossless from a VHS which over time had been stretched(probably from mass playing) therefore there are sync issues about every 15 seconds.
Theory 2.
It could also be that the VHS it was from had been from a PAL VHS and not a NTSC native recording.
So basically ,without going into technical details, a lot more work is required unless a lossless from a NTSC turns up.Or Bob lets me have the Sbd rec ;)

I was too young in 1975 to go to concerts. I'd bought my first Queen records earlier in the year (the Now I'm Here 45 was my first exposure to Queen at the age of 10, previously I'd purchased 45s by Sweet, T Rex, Slade and Mud but I count the early months of 1975 as when I started to buy what I wanted rather than what was cool and in the magazines, anybody remember Look-In?) so my first exposure of Queen live was that Hammersmith Odeon Command Performance. I begged my parents to let me stay up to watch it, there were no videos in those days, so they had to agree. Nobody expected the rebroadcast a year later.
Anyway, after the Bob Harris top hat and tails introduction came the opening notes of Now I'm Here with the little silhouette trick and to me, at the time (and OK, even now having recently acquired a version of the show on DVD with the intact intro) I thought it was dead neat. It's a moment that has lived with me all my life and my own personal little bit of magic that I thought I'd never see again...especially after the rebroadcasts cut this piece out. So, any version of Hammy O from 1975 just has to have this introduction to qualify as the real thing.
