Without the sudden change in audio quality in the NIH intro as in the hybrid DVD shared here?[/QUOTE]
the audio track comes from the soundboard and not from the video mix

I am working on a complete version of the concert, I took all the parts that are missing in the japanese version from the original broadcast!
I could post a sample of it, if you are interested!

Quote From Rick - No offence, but what's wrong with the WoWoW-version? Okay the sound is mono, but the picture quality is really excellent.
Well my version has KYA missing and the end medley missing. The WoWoW version is great yes, just want those bits included and I'd be very happy.
Just wish I could download it from somewhere.

Yes, but there are still problems with it so it cannot be classed as the definitive version just yet.
Soundboard audio or not, at the beginning of NIH there is a click and a definite change in the audio quality, I'm guessing from the original video soundtrack to the soundboard audio. And there's the tape mangle some moments further in.
I'm not moaning or complaining about the DVD, just pointing out that what is presented is not perfect. As it stands, I love it and think Stone Cold Leo has done a fantastic job. Another upgrade would be beyond belief.

No, you don't understand me.
I'm NOT talking about the DVD which was shared here, but about my DVD which does NOT feature the video mix, but a soundboard mix.

Ah, one of yours.
Please tell me it'll be shared someday, please. I'd offer you a special tomashenka hug for one of your fabulous shares, only trouble with that is you probably wouldn't be able to share anything else afterwards so would you settle for copious gratitude and a place in my heart instead?

So does anybody know please, how or where I can download a copy of this gig which includes KYA and the end medley?

Erm, oh yeah you did ask right at the beginning.
Well, this version has KYA and the medley but the pic quality isn't anywhere near the *absolute* best version around and it has the timecode at the top to detract even further. The sound is for the most part from the stereo radio broadcast and enjoyably so.
The silhouette intro to NIH is present as is Bob's introduction. Read the thread, read the notes and decide for yourself.

This copy has it. I belive it is basically from the same Japanese broadcast, since it has WOWOW in the corner but without the Japanese hosts introducing it. But I think it is the complete re-broadcast (with the same dialoge cuts as the other, but with all the songs)from a DVD by "Room 101 Entertainment"

My version has it. If you mean the whole song + medley. Cause they are definitely on mine. Some speeches before KYA are cut though.

Brilliant, thanks guys.
Downloading it right now, the ...silvers torrent.
It's gonna take a few days I think, but will be well worth it to me. A fantastic gig by the greatest band there has ever been, right in their prime.
What's not to love?

i've been waiting for a trader who knows what he's talking about to send me the room 101 version...that seems to be one of the best ones out there according to some people i trust.
