Given that only a short extract of One Vision was played, no one has mentioned whether or not the version of Surfs Up was a full version or an abridged version for intro purposes. Can anyone clarify?
My heart got hijacked by you.......
Surf's Up... School's Out was shortened.

I personally think the gig was magical, but that may be because I didn't think I'd ever get to see Queen live until a few weeks ago, especially in my hometown. I'm quite surprised at the harsh criticism here, actually.
In case anybody saw me, I was the bloke with the Iron Maiden t-shirt ;)
Berlin concert was just amazing, incredible, wonderful...I will write something more soon but now I have to go sleep:) But it was one of the greatest moments in my life. Q+PR are great!
Wrong songs are being dropped...
Wrong songs are being added... I absolutely HATE SURF/SCHOOL...

I am worried that by the time I see them in London on the 7th of November they will drop most of the stuff I am into (seems to be the case so far...) and replace it with all the staff I absolutely can't stand... all I need is to get really worried is WE BELIEVE in there.... yuck...

Brain was joking very often. He said "Ich bin ein Berliner" (copyright by JFK). Then he said something like: "We have a lot of memories here in Berlin. Butwe can share them with your grandparent or parents:"
What he actually said was that Queen probably played in front of our parents or grandparents the last time they were in Berlin. But he was definately wrong, since the audience was OLD. There were hardly any people of my generation, and I am in my late twenties.

At first I didn't plan to attend any of the concerts. But I am spending several days in Berlin at the moment and had nothing better to do. So I went to the venue and bought my ticket yesterday at around 7.30 for 20 Euros. I think the show wasn't sold out completely.

The intro and Surf's Up were a nice surprise and got my hopes up for some more changes in the setlist. They were playing very professionally, but somehow seemed to lack passion (no wonder when you are playing the same songs for decades). Roger was in great shape on the drums, but messed up singing IILWMC and was really struggling with the beginning of SINT. Looked sad.

'39 was very nice. Warboys sounded a bit chaotic, but that may have had to do with the bad sound at the back of the hall.
By the time of Brian's solo I got bored, left my seat and walked around. I watched the rest of the show from the side of the stage. I had a great view over the whole audience from there, I could watch Roger and the guys perfectly well and could see what was going on behind the stage. The last thing I saw was Roger going off already wearing a jacket.

I really don't like that they still have Freddie on the screen several times. I couldn't stand the way Paul sang AKOM, GaGa (which the rest of the audience of course loved!), IWTBF and I think the setlist is way too predictable. I HATE last horizon, it's SO cheesy. The light show was weak and all in all the concert had the atmosphere of a mediocre cover-band (too many musicians, too many old greatest hits, Spike being the extremely silly clown he is and playing with his feet, Jamie joining Brian and looking like Status Quo in 1985). Why do they need a tape of the stomping and clapping during WWRY? What about the ringing at the end of C-lebrity, is there also a tape running in the background? Why does Spike play kitschy keyboard during LOML?
You know what? I'm just glad that there weren't many people like you there...audience was old? There were many young people especially near the stage...The band was graet I was waiting for this show for many months..I was standing right in front of the end of the catwalk. It was the best concert I've ever seen. ANd the audience was great the band...Bri Spike..everybody was joking and really you could feel the magic and joy in the air. People who has standing tickets were having wonderful time and I think people in the seats also. With the small exception of you. I 'm writing this not becouse you didn't like the show. It's your opinion...but.. You wrote Spike was lookikg like clown...oh my God he was wonderful and he was joking and making peolpe even more happier...Jamie and Brian..it was wonderful to see them playing together..ANd Brian's solo...You were bored..well it was one of the most amazing moments during the concert. Bijou Last horizon...incredible. You know... next time if you go to a concert only becouse you don't have anything better to do...better stay at home.
