Once this generation dies out (the beatles generation) nobody will care about the Beatles.

They are totally overrated.

Do you see YOUNG people listening to Beatles? Hell no. Their music sucks balls.

Do you see YOUNG people listening to Queen? Hell yes. Their legend grows by the day.

The only reason the Beatles are this popular is they are attached to the 60s Era. Their sucky music helped to define an era.

Technically, and artistically, the Beatles are a very average and boring band.

In 100 years, NOBODY will care about the Beatles except as some historical reference.

However, in 100 years, Queen music will STILL be listened and ENJOYED. They are gods in Rock Music.

That's the key. ENJOY.

Queen Music = Enjoyed by everyone.

Beatles = popular but their music is not enjoyable. It just brings back memories for Old people about their 60s decade. NOSTALGIA.

Once these old people die out, nobody not the old, not the young will care about the Beatles.

THAT IS FACT.

You're welcome, dumb shiet.

No no it was totally needed. I need to weed out dumb shiets like you from this once great Queen forum.

All you retards should be banned for life.
I understand you love Freddie, I also do. But you can't be so intolerable.
A man who learnt how to teach, but forgot how to learn. A la grande le puse cuca!!
Too bad Paul didn't help Freddie with the high notes on ITTWWC!

I have no doubt that Freddie was thrilled to be standing shoulder to shoulder with Paul McCartney - look at the joy in that mans face. I had never seen all of that footage before, so thanks for the link. However, the minute it took to read this thread will be regretted forever...

Look at this Paul McCartney, and all the other idiots on stage (except for Freddie) making a total fool of themselves.

Paul McCartney, Bono stealing the mic away from Freddie who stole the show at Live Aid!

This is the real Paul McCartney! LOL.

Yeah. the Beatles were sooo good. Yeah right. LOL[/QUOTE]

Freddie and Paul were GREAT friends. They even bought drugs together after the show... a whole load of 'em.

They even had sex with some of the people, such as Janet Jackson.

Paul's favorite part about Queen is Freddie. Particularly, his voice!
"Please buy my upcoming album... I need the money"
There are two possibilities:

(1) Either SomebodyWhoLoves is aware of the stupidity of what he writes and just has a sadistic pleasure in pissing everyone off and insulting everybody who doesn't agree with him,

(2) Either he is extremely stupid and crazy and is able to produce such nonsense without having any clue as to how stupid and crazy he is.

Anyway, I believe he has gone too far insulting people. I honestly think he should be BANNED. Freedom of speech is one thing, but insulting and calling people names is a totally different something.
I LOVE QUEEN! "My guitar was my weapon and my shield to hide behind" (Brian May)
Or the third possibility is that you're a DUMB-ASS!

Look, you can cry about it as much as you want, but Paul McCartney is NOTHING compared to Freddie Mercury.

Nothing I said here is crazy, or insane.

This video was hilarious, and I have no problems with calling Paul McCarthney an AssClown for doing that to Freddie.
Actually, I always felt sorry for Fred in that particular moment. He wanted to be part of that moment, because he knew it was something very special, and it almost seemed like he was trying too hard.

Obviously, Queen were the best performers that day. They played the hits and Freddie out-Freddied himself. Iconic moment, the Queen set.

Still, he had nothing to do performing "Do They Know it's Christmas" (by the way, the only song that got THE WHOLE STADIUM jumping up and down). He was just part of the ensemble. Did you expect anyone to care for him at that moment? The world didn't revolt around Freddie at that time, like it doesn't right now.

You can't really believe Paul McCartney felt jealous at Freddie. Queen had performed many hours before, Paul had just pretty much closed the show with "Let it be" (if I recall correctly).

Paul McCartney, however a dick we all know he is, has nothing to envy Freddie and/or Queen:

He had (and has) more money than all Queen member put together, his songs have been played more than any other artist's in the world (Yesterday has been covered over 2000 times), he is considered by many people as the best pop songwriter of all times, he broke all barriers in music with the Beatles.

Nobody ever got to be as big as The Beatles and I don't think anybody will every be. Well, maybe Elvis was as big as them. Even if I don't know a lot of his songs.
I've never understood why it was so fashionable to trash the Beatles...
