George Harrison`s words about Macca are taken from the book called The Rough Guide to the Beatles. It is very accurate and well-grounded.I didn`t make them up. Besides, some people consider it interesting to unveil the myths of celebrities, who certainly had some failings.

You can only be as much as an expert as anyone else with a few books on the subject... which really doesn't make you (or I) an expert. I could rattle off a dozen stories about McCartney to create a desired impression, and I could cite which books I got them from, but I'm still only quoting books.
I have no problem accepting that the Beatles had to be assholes to get where they did (Lennon said it himself perfectly...) but threads like this really, really amuse me - particularly when anyone can wonder in and be 'an expert'.

well, you are blaming me for something I didn`t mean. I actually read a lot about the Beatles, not just a quote, i `m sure more than you. Your comparison of reading biographies to reading physics doen`t hold water. reading physics require special skills.
