Freddie Mercury was the engine of Queen... it seems that some people forgot who had the idea for the band name, the band logo and the extravagant shows... Brian and Roger are great musicians but without Freddie they would work as dentist and astrophysicist. John Deacon did a great job and knew when Queen was "dead"...!
The show must go on... but not as Queen... Paul Rodgers is a good singer but the image of Queen is damaged now in my point of view...
I never would insult Queen+PR Fans... but it´s not MY kind of music.

Totally agree with everything you said. Freddie was and is singlehandedly the best musician/singer and frontman of all time forever.
I totally agree with both of you!!!
Freddie came up with the name. I've seen the interview. So I guess you're right.
But the rest of your opinion put me to sleep. Sorry.

Perhaps your point of view is an insult in itself?

Paul Rodgers is a good singer but the image of Queen is damaged now in my point of view..............
i cant beleive that if it is so,why is the ulbum number 5 in the charts, and the tour looks like a sell out.thats not damaged thats ,how can i put it,continuation of a band or group that looks like surviving for a good few years to come.maybe no more albums, but as a tour band im sure things will continue.after all this and maybe the tour before had a lot of younger fans mixing with older ones.no i think they could go on for a good while yet.from a personal point of view ,i have 2 kids 10 and 16 who love queen(drummed in from an early age lol)and i hope in years to come they can say,we saw queen a few times.

i agree, and its not even queen that is playing or putting out albums...they changed thier name.
I am so thankful for this collaberation, that I was able to see them live...even just once ( i recorded the drum solo from vancouver 2006 video) and I hope I will be able to see them again and again in the future, and I look forward to more albums from them.
