Poll: What is the best Queen Tribute Band

I went to see a band called Queen Nation at a SoCal casino a few weeks back, and as their normal lead singer was out, they had Gregory Finsley of Queen for a Day fill in. As Sir GH (who's heard the raw .wav of the concert) can attest, the pairing was excellent. Greg Finsley is one of the best Freddie impersonators out there (and a damn nice guy), and the QN band sound alarmingly like Brian, Roger, and John.

All Queen Impersonators / bands regardless of how good they actually might sound, are in fact, RETARDED. It's embarrassing to see grown men pretending (and failing) to be a Freddie Mercury or a Brian May. And what's more laughably funny is the idiot audience clapping along like children with special needs. Don't these morons realize how retarded the entire spectacle is??

I've seen a band in Ireland a couple of times called The Memories. They are not a Queen tribute band but do sometimes if requested do a full Queen set and in my opinion they are better than any of the tribute bands I've seen, which if I'm being honest is only 3. They've actually been together since the early 70s as a cover band, I've not seen them in years but I do remember them being great

Though the singer had a voice close to Fred and he had, as they mentioned, won a "the best Freddie Mercury" impersonator award he didn´t really gave me shivers. Even though, I have to give my wote to The Miracle as they really don´t try to be Queen.

The only tribute band I've seen was Queen+Paul Rodgers, and they couldn't possibly be the best one... So I think I'm going to have to pass on this vote.

Magic - A kind of Queen.
Didnt try to look or act like Queen, only did the songs justice.
All 5 band members were vocalists, they started out as a vocal harmony group.
Performed a wide range of songs.
Killer Queen, Bohemian Rhapsody, Barcelona, Innuendo, Breakthru, Show must go on, TATDOOL, hammer to fall, love of my life - just to name a few.
Fantastic musicians with awesome lead and backing vocals!

Queen on Fire do a very good Greatest Hits show, the singer has impressive power and range. There are way too many "day-ohs" and there is little interaction between him and the guitarist who is a passable Brian May look-alike. But if you like the Queen chart songs, you'll love them.

So far, over 50% of the respondents think that QPR is "Queen" in name only, and is nothing more than a Queen tribute band.
