I would have thought that most respondants would have considered QPR to be a real band, rather than see QPR as just a tribute band - given the high charting of TCR in the UK and a few other places. It seems odd to me that a tribute band can have an album that actually charts.
However, curiosity will get the better of me, and I will buy this tribute band album when it comes out in North America in late October.

I've seen them live many times and they're really good.
Also, I hear in youtube a guy called Gary Mullen and his voice is the closer one to Fred's that I've ever heard, much more than Pablo Padin from Dios Salve a la Reina (who is indeed a very good singer).
