We Believe (Next Single)

We Believe was released to radio stations as digital single on Friday last week by EMI Germany. The song was shortened to 3:40 mins by omitting most of the first verse (like they play it live) and cutting later. Sadly, no advertising, not even additional informations from EMI to the release. Few chance for airplay, I'm afraid. The EMI bosses should learn to work like a record company!
Where did you found this information please? Any chance of a link?

Ehhh...We Believe - dead for me after that

Amazing. My respect for Brian as a songwriter is going down, down, down. And they even have the impudence to release it as a single??

That's much worse than the Tenacious D rip-off that is c-lebrity's guitar riff.

And the Lovin' Spoonful song is much nicer.

"I'm a great believer in actually NOT giving people what they want" Brian May, 11 March 05
Say it's not true...

I mean seriously, if I am to play devil's avocado here, "Call Me" is more radio friendly.
in my humble opinion, cosmos rockin' IS (i mean it should be)  the single: it's title track, it's rock'n roll, it's fun, and with some money of investment it would become a great video!!!!
why not?
Anything too stupid to be said... is sung.
If true, this is a terrible choice for a single. It's only an average song anyway, but the main problem is that it doesn't have any catchy radio-friendly elements that would justify using it as a single. Brian May's ego perhaps over-ridng common sense?

What a joke! It bears little resemblance to We Believe.

We're not talking about Coldplay's viva la vida song, which happens to resemble 2-3 different songs.

I look forward to hearing if WB is coming as a single as it's my fav song.

To *country* music radio, sure but not mainstream radio, not even close.

I dunno.  I heard something on the radio last week that was certainly on that side of the country fence, but then I do live in Australia and this place shouldn't even have radio sometimes, I swear.

Put it this way; if you can have that Kid Rock cocksucker ripping off Sweet Home Alabama (a shit song to begin with) and having it on the radio on a regular basis (again, I think this country should sell all of it's radio stations) then I don't see "Call Me" being that outlandish.

I don't even like the song that much but at least it's not "We Believe".  Ha-ha

What I was getting at is that neither song is really a good single, I think.  Surely if you had to pick one, you'd go with the one that's shorter, the one that doesn't take a thesaurus to sing along with.

Actually... do they even need another single???
Who buys those things nowadays?
WE BELIEVE would flop big time
It's the single worst song they have EVER recorded...
