Yes, it can be a great adventure to film a concert. I´m glad that the security guy was so nice that he just warned you.
When I was at a U2 concert in Berlin back in 2005 I was cought and they took the camera (never saw it again). They even thought about the fact to send me out of the venue.
So I´m glad that your filming came to a happy end.

pittrek.i think the tripod would make it,stale.this is raw as in feeling the movement ,sort of rocking to the beat.i liked it .a tripod would make it to pro.this way you or i get the proper feel of the gig.just my impresion.
