I was a very small kid when my uncle came visiting from Europe. Along with other things, he brought his entire music collection, and one of my earliest recollections of an english song is "Sunny" playing at full volume on the stereo and uncle (died last year, may his soul RIP) singing along even louder. He left quite a few of his records at my place and i grew up on a staple diet of Boney M, ABBA, Modern Talking and Billy Ocean.
I can't help laughing out loud when I recall that I used to do some crazy dancing with only mom as audience : D.
