I don't think they'll do any promo tours in the US until they tour the US, if they decide to tour. An appearance on SNL and the late night show circuit will do wonders for a band.
I have decided to enjoy TCR for what it is and not to expect the rest of the country to follow along.
Keeping the expectations low for what Hollywood will do is so much more relaxing. Who says fatalism is a bad idea?

Album sales are irrelevant to them as long as he tour is sold out.Also, playing live gives them apparently more pleasure than making videos and giving interviews.

You may be right. Then again, I never said Innuendo or MIH were great albums. If you want my opinion, Innuendo is a lot more interesting and ambitious than TCR, whereas I've listened to TCR more times now than I ever listened to MIH.

Indeed. That's the main reason they remained being Queen and they playing new songs to the minimum. The kah-ching machine relays totally on a tour's success, more than on a soon-to-be-forgotten album.

well Innuendo...I'd say most of it....aside from Delilah and All God's People
Made in Heaven.....I'd say Mother Love is the only one that stands out for me....most of the other tracks were really recycled from other past projects.....it was a soft Tribute cd to Freddie....and nothing that rocked

Re chart position - certainly hoping it climbs the charts but they really need other tracks released to radio (probably within 2 wks for North America since C-lebrity is still popular in the radio charts and they should have done this already elsewhere)

You forgot that most countries don't have Walmart, and still AC/DC have heavy sellings on those. The new label they signed is the main reason they are having this promotion and this amount of sales. Queen shouldn't had resigned for EMI and Hollywood records. They should negociate with a new label having this new album on the table.

When I was in the Barcelona gig, we met a couple of German who live in Tenerife asking me if I bought the album. Here in the Canarian Islands are like... filled with Germans, English and Dutch people and they can buy the album easily, butto be honest, it's not on the big shopping centers and on the big stores like Carrefour or Media Markt, which are the ones they visit.
I just think they did that work to be themselves happy and make the loyal fans happy. That they don't care about charts or big sales of the album. I can't see nothing different than this.
And about if the tour might come to an end, that Paul is "unhappy"... those things I just have an opinion: I hope I can see them live again. If Paul wants to leave and they want to find someone else for the job, I don't care, just by seeing Brian and Roger on stage and playing all those songs that have been with me forever and I have loved them a lot, it's been such a pleasant expierence :). The bad thing I've seen is that with him they had so much chemistry that you could see that on stage.

Looks like the album has fallen out of the top 100 on America's Billboard charts. No idea if it's still in the top 200 since www.billboard.com only lists the first 100 entries.
