YES for me as well. They are still perfect altough without Freddie. I attended 9 shows (2005 + 2008) and I hope to see them again.:-))
This is the dilemma of the Rodgers/Queen lovers.
No matter how many times they can say they've seen them in concert, they know that it just doesn't have the cred of saying you saw the original Queen.
There's enough people on here that talk about any number of god awful Queen cover bands. People go to see them obviously. I wonder why? I mean after all, they're not seeing Queen, are they?

much similar to Pittrek´s case .... As a Queen fan I´ve always accepted Paul; even from the start when they announced the first tour in 2005. And when I saw them in their first gig at Brixton Academy (a loooong time ago now) I empathized with him. Yes, that gig was a little mess musically but I felt Paul was very modest.
The rest of the 2005/2006 tour reinforced my opinion, as well as the new album and tour now in 2008.
It´s thanks to Paul that I had the chance to see Roger and Brian playing together again. And I like the musical combination of both parts. Love the new album and hope this is not the end. I´d love to see how their partnership can evolve in another new studio album, in wich I´m sure we´d see more input from Brian.

From what I saw from the average of the people waiting for the QPR in Brazil (I wasn't there, saw it on tv), I find it strange that they don't have any kind of notion of what the Queen + FM was but on records, so this is the only possible "Queen" they can see live, enjoy it while you can, no matter if the champagne has lost its bubbles (nice metaphor isn't it?). As it's been said many times, if Freddie was alive/he should have used condoms/blah blah blah, nobody can tell if they were that good or even if they were still active and together. But it would be slightly less embarassing. Or boring.

Their previous tour was lots of fun (haven't been to this one), some people would rather stay at home and complain though
i know this is old news now, but i'll have my say.
when i first heard of the partnership i was vehemently against it. even though i consider paul to be the best rock vocalist that there has been, i wasn't keen on the idea.
i did change my mind a little as time went on. i've seen a concert or two of the band and they seem quite good.
i suppose the big thing for me is using the name queen. i realize why it was a good idea as far as commercial reasons went though.
i'd of much rather brian and roger touring with an unknown singer, or perhaps just them doing the vocals. still, its over for now.
