Possibility of it being recorded for DVD? I'd like to think so, since I was there and all that.
Shame the crowd wasn't as hot as it was for Glasgow (the other gig I've been to on this tour), but still a very good gig in all.

"Lots" of cameras? More than were used to put those pics on the screen at th eback of the stage? (Or did you think that was a previous night and they were just REALLY well choreographed?)
Did you see all those hardworking tech's taking the film out afterwards?
and finally.....did you not hear that this tour's DVD has already been recorded?

Obviously you must have never seen the gig that is being recorded. Believe me- you wouldn't have ANY doubts if they were recording it. I was in Sheffield in 2005 for instance- a completely different gig than 6 others I've seen that year. The lights (and I'm not talking stage lights, but the lightning of the venue), the amount of cameras, all the cranes and stuff... Oh- and least once someone from the stage would mention the fact, even off the record....

The Birmingham gig had hundreds of cameras, it was called people taking pictures:)
I sure as hell hope that they are filming the show in South America that is going to have 300,000 people or more for God's sake. Please don't tell me they are going to do an audience the size of Knebworth or bigger and they again are not going to film it. Please tell me that they are filming a gig where they PLAY songs from "The Cosmos Rocks" and not just the first one where the show was almost the same as "Return Of The Champions". Otherwise why did they tour at all? What's the deal here?!

Kharkov held 350,000 and that was recorded.
I just thought they might have done two shows, or at least recorded some stuff for DVD extras. And to be honest Penetration, I don't really focus at the end of a gig on whether the tech guys are taking film out of cameras. There certainly weren't that many cameras at all though for Glasgow. That's what sparked my curiosity.

I'm no expert, but I can imagine, that the post-production of such a video can take several weeks. It doesn't make sense to film one of the last concerts of the tour, and then present it to the public many weeks after the tour is over. I think, they want to have it ready towards the end of the tour.

I asked him whether there was going to be a cd/dvd release from tis tour to which he said that unfortunately there wouldnt be.

On the side of the remote cameras at the front of the stage, it had HD, so they would possibley have recorded it in Digital, meaning that there would be no need for film to be taken out of it.
