As promised on another thread, here is the Fukuoka 1 May 1979 show; Notes to follow on another post - I don't want to run the risk of deleting the title if I find I made a mistake!
Thank you very much. Now you made me happy!!!!!![/img] from Norway

First, thank you very much Ginger!
Since it is the same you've shared on the hub, I can help seeding with the 66% I already have and finish it here.
I'm still disapointed by the poor ratio Thanks/Leecher here

It does look iffy on TLH. But the frequency analyses look ok on EAC and TAU which leads me to believe that there was a problem with the transfer at some point, or eventually a hiss reducftion was applied. But I'm not an expert at such matters - any other ideas?
Cheers!

Hi !
I received during a trade a version of that show, for which I was also asking myself why it was not clearly lossless. Maybe someone can help too. Ginger, Daffy, could you please check the following link and compare with your own version ? I'm pretty sure it was taken from the hub (not by me), but I would prefer you compare. PLease confirm if you get the same results or not.
In that link you will find a doc file containing the logs taken from Audiochecker and Trader's Little Helper, plus the frequency analysis and spectral views for each track.
I would say that the horizontal line is corresponding to tape hiss. But what is your opinion everyone ? Lossy or lossless, and why ?
Regards,
Olivier,
Belgium.

Olivier, that is the kind of frequency analysis that I got (I won't comment on the spectrum, I really don't understand them!).I think it's okay but would like an expert opininion, and I don't feel I qualify for that :)
