Brian and Roger - literally - have no one saying anything negative to them about anything they have input in. Brian's webmistress is the very worst offender. Nothing gets through to either of them so that their poor little egos aren't hurt. But as a result, they have no idea what's really going on. For example, interviewers will be told what they can and can't ask them so that they aren't surprised or put on the spot.
If Greg and Gary had challenged them - constructively - we could have had a completely different product which would have catered for everyone. But they bottled it and pandered to their heroes.
