...but let's not worry too much. They do the same to everyone else. It's hardly the pinnacle of music journalism, but we thought we'd share this article with you:

http://entertainment.uk.msn.com/music/features/article.aspx?cp-documentid=12018683&GT1=61501

"But all that pales when compared to the absurd rebirth of Queen (+ Paul "you know, the one who was in Free and Bad Company and sang that song All Right Now" Rogers). A band whose reputation was always disproportionate to their actual abilities, even when the only interesting member was still alive and the most talented member could still bear to play bass in their presence, were now a band who had the audacity to follow up the worst musical ever written (one day we'll topple that statue of Freddie in Tottenham Court Rd, just like they did Saddam) with a new album under the name Queen + Paul "who was also in The Firm but we can't remember any of their hits" Rogers, entitled The Cosmos Rocks (oh good grief!).

"Queen + Paul "why didn't they just get George Michael to do it again because at least he can hit the high notes without sounding like he's straining out a poo" Rogers also released a single called C-lebrity (oh good grief!), damning our obsession with reality TV stars (oh good grief!) that was stuffed full of lyrical conceits as clumsy as a giant picking up pins, and sounded as joyless and stilted as a Gordon Brown-hosted Xmas party. They did not rock us."

"Normally i can't dance to save my life. But as soon as I step in dog shit, I can moonwalk better than Michael Jackson."
Tom Townshend is the journalist of this crappy article.  Who is this nobody writing for this crappy MSN site?

This is like totally unfair !
Let Queen + Paul Rodgers do want they want to do !
George Michael would be a very bad idea !
''We believe, there's a deed of obligation, to bring reconciliation, to make peace with every nation....''
thats pretty full on

but i agree the cosmos rocks sucks

but it could do without the insults
I'm no fan of the whole Q+PR idea, but that was a bit harsh!

You get the impression are that they're as bad as they ever were.
The worst thing is that they misspelled Rodgers
"I never tie my own shoelace, I mean never. It's just not the thing done in rock and roll!"
Who the fuck is he to berate all the music that comes out these days. Who IS he, seriously.

He sounds like an old fart who seriously needs to get laid.
...but if it was positive you'd all agree. Hypocrites.
We love you Mandy!
I wouldn't. I'm no fan of the new collaboration, I'm just saying, it's okay to make an editorial mistake, but if you're going to insult a man, spell his name right!
"I never tie my own shoelace, I mean never. It's just not the thing done in rock and roll!"
Why is the author of this article allowed to breathe our air here on planet Earth? Go back to your home planet "Ass" with all the rest of you "Assholes" and shove your head up one of your own kind...

Please spot the lies.
That was an awful review indeed.  Personally, I think "The Cosmos Rocks" is a good album.  It's of course no where near the brilliance of A Night at the Opera or Bad Company (debut), but it certainly rocks the hell out of my Zune headphones.  One of the things that saves the album (to me) is that no two songs are too similar.  There's some diversity, as with Queen's entire career.
"Fuck today, it's tomorrow." - Freddie Mercury
Obviously, the review is terrible. But this guy clearly didn't either like, nor understand the original Queen, so what chance do their recent ventures with Paul Rodgers have? I sometimes think that, if critics actually knew anything about music, they'd be doing it, not writing about it.
Tear down the statue of Freddie..... that's a bit harsh really! Stupid fucker!
