...it's not a Queen album.
Gentleman, you can't fight in here - this is The War Room!
What a give away ......'Paul "who was also in The Firm but we can't remember any of their hits" Rogers'.... judging a band by how many hits they've had or not is pathetic, there are so many more deserving cases to knock in pop and rock music today, Q+PR are such an easy target for smeg heads like this.

I'm not crazy about Cosmos rocks or the band using the name 'Queen' but the live show was great, I think Q+PR will listen to what the fans say and the next cd will be miles better.
What's the ugliest part of your body?, some say your nose some say your toes but I think it's your mind.
ust let them come to the States so we could see them live.  Raise your hand if you've never seen Queen live.......let them play and tour, little girls!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  They will always be one of the most influential bands ever, and Fred wouldn't have san The Show Must Go On" if he didn't mean it....maybe he did foresee something like this, who knows.....
Hello Queen!!!
Although I don't agree with a word this guy has said, and think it's just over-opinionated crap from someone who has developed major issues over the years, at least he is saying he didn't like Queen much in the first place.  I suppose that's better than all the other reviews I've read which have had critics praising Queen in the Freddie years but who probably, at the time, slagged them off more than anyone.
I've listened to The Cosmos Rocks  quite a bit now and I'm definately glad they made it. I have ommitted a couple of songs from my MP3 player, but I've done that with every Queen album.  There are enough good ones on it to make it more than worthwhile.
once again somebody, missing the point to q+pr. queen never stood still and were always trying something different, and moving forward in their own way. now as i have said on many occassions, q+pr is just another natural move forward. would you have preffered queen to have simply put down their instruments in 1991, and say oh freddies dead, lets all just retire and do nothing for the rest of our lives. also queen were born out of smile, which never consisted of either john nor freddie. so if brian + roger wishes to collaborate with paul rodgers, and fans wish to see it[{and they obviously do as tickets for the show were snapped up quickly} then why not let it happen instead of living in the past and move on, in the great tradition that queen have done for 35 years.
Haha.

Funny stuff.

They should go and call themselves Smile + Paul Rodgers then.
This is definatly not funny

Paul Rodgers does not sing like he is Straining out a poo
''We believe, there's a deed of obligation, to bring reconciliation, to make peace with every nation....''
It is a Queen album but with Paul Rodgers, you cunt
''We believe, there's a deed of obligation, to bring reconciliation, to make peace with every nation....''

Who the fuck is he to berate all the music that comes out these days. Who IS he, seriously.

He sounds like an old fart who seriously needs to get laid.

He looks like a guy who wants Boy George to chain him up and do (yuck...I don't even want to know), & then spend time in w/ prison so they can write a good song (in his eyes) called "Jailhouse Love."
"Let us cling together as the years go by; Oh my love, my love. In the quiet of the night, Let our candle always burn; Let us never lose the lessons we have learned." - Brian May
Big deal.

They hated ANATO and just about every other classic Queen album that came out in the 70s so why would you want to listen to a fucking music critic. If they had their way we'd all be listening to fucking indie bands and Morrisey or some other boring shit.
Internet music journalism isn't worth a pile of chilled camel cum.  Honestly, a review of this calibre and shallow nature could've easily been lifted from QOL and you'd never have known it.

Thanks for the link though, it was worth a chuckle!
