Did you read the part in bold? It was a joke. I know it's Brian [b]Harold[/b] May but while I was writing the post I found funny the possibility of it being Brian [b]Hussein [/b]May. I was simply alluding to the insecurity many Americans have with Obama being a crypto-Muslim(completely untrue, BTW).

It's not so much insensitive as in bad taste considering current opinions expressed by certain fanatics bear a striking resemblance to it. No hard feelings, mind you.

Pittrek I think is right ... but whatever it is, the [url=http://www.song-list.net/queen/mustapha/tracks]mustapha[/url] song is superb!

A friend of mine heard WWRY at a party and liked it, so the next time she came visiting a decided to entertain her with some queen music. I played Mustapha for her (since she is a Muslim) because I thought she would be able to relate to it somehow.

She said that some of the lyrics seemed to have been adapted from the standard Arabic prayer that is recited by muslims (not just Salaam Aleikum, but some more bits as well).

Incidentally, she got offended by the song (she's very conservative in matters of religion you see).
