I lost my 2 DVDs. I had the whole BBC broadcast, including interviews, backstage banter, i.e. the whole thing. Damn!

Any chance to see a torrent out of it or is this the kind of trading stuff?

Double no. About 70-80 % of it was officially released, I don't think someone will torrent it here

feared so...

well, how about the pieces that weren't event on the VHS?

I'd love to see Spinal Tap performance, as, when I listen to the recording, I just can't understand how they manage to stay together, with such a tempo difference!

Well, my uncle has the original broadcast on 2 VHS tapes. I had them transferred some years ago. Unfortunately and mysteriously, I lost them. I should transfer them again in the nearby future.

Oh by the way, the whole performance could be uploaded to sites like Piratebay.

Hi Rick, so YOU are the original source ?
I've been searching for the original source for years :) The transfer was very "blocky", it would be perfect if you could do a 3-4 DVD transfer with PCM sound :) In the case you wanna do it and you trade, please let me know :)

Haha Pittrek, I don't think so. Seeing as I never traded my DVDs. Merely for personal use as I really wanted to have the full thing. My version was really enjoyable, not "blocky" as you pointed out.

I will contact my uncle as soon as possible. I have a week off next week, meaning time enough for transferring. Will do the best quality possible, even if that means using 3 DVDs or more. :)

If you're talking about the 2DVD set which is circulating, it looks great on a normal TV, but it's really blocky on a LCD, I don't even wanna know how it will look on a HDTV :) But it would be great if you could re-transfer it and "make it available for some people" :)
