Song from Miracle surely wouldn't be an opener. it would be either Tie your mother down or One vision i think...i don't know, probaby The Miracle, Scandal and Breakthru would be played...

I like this idea of Was It All Worth It playing as an intro tape (same way One Vision was), and then the band ripping into the heavy riff in the middle. Only need a couple of minutes of the song, then jump to the old favourite of TYMD!

I always figured a taped "Party" into "Khashoggi's Ship" would have made a fun opener. Just as the "ooooooo" at the end of Party jumps up an octave, smoke bombs go off, and Freddie appears onstage shouting, "Who said that my party was all over?" Khashoggi could have segued into TYMD pretty nicely.

Ah, what could have been.

now that sounds excellent! i have to say though i prefer TYMD later in the set rather than early as most are suggesting.

Was It All Worth It would have worked, I can hear and picture it now,intro as per the record firat and then wham bam into it. Fuck yeah

Breakthru I think would have been a great opener, the first 25-30 seconds would be a taped introduction then just as it increases in tempo would be where the band kicked in.

I Want It All would of been the first track. I guarantee it.

Too bad Queen didn't perform a song from 'The Miracle' on a public television music show in the TOTP kind of way. Freddie could of handled it, if he could handle two days of filming 'Breakthru'

It wasn't the case, I presume. It's a different thing to film a video and do as many takes as you wish, and to perform a song live and get it right in one go. Considering Freddie's status and his perfectionism, he probably thought about it and decided it was too risky. Also, keep in mind that his health condition was unstable at the time and he probably couldn't predict in what shape he would be on a particular day.
