The best existing recording of this concert comes from the Gypsy Eye bootleg "Done Under Pressure In Germany". The majority of this bootleg comes from an excellent source, which is probably even pre-FM. It has unfortunately a lot of background hiss, but it gets mostly noticable during the silent parts. Also some songs (like Tie Your Mother Down) play in an incorrect speed and others are distorted. There were many cuts in this fantastic recording, so the guys at "Gypsy Eye" filled the gaps from a much worse quality recording. However
until spring 2008 this bootleg was the best existing version of this concert.
In March 2008 a new source appeared, which is a digital copy of a 1st gen copy of a direct FM broadcast. This copy is complete, but much worse quality then the better part of DUPIG, but still much better then the worse part of DUPIG.
So a logical next step was to take the better part of the DUPIG audio, remove the hiss, correct the speed where necessary and fill the gaps with the FM source. The result was encoded to FLAC with Traders Little Helper removing all SBEs. The flac files were tagged with Winamp.
So until a complete version of the main DUPIG source appears, this is probably the best currently existing version of this gig. Of course, if you have a better one, feel free to share it :)

To Raf: Go work on that thesis dude ;-)
What's the subject btw? (i'm writing about the privacy of the employee)
To Peter: Thanks for your work. I know you are busy but still you find time to create and share things like this.
Much appreciated. Hopefully the last time I have to replace my Mannheim 86 copies...;-)

You're right even though I must say today was a great day, I made great progress! I hope I'll be able to finish it in time:-)
It's about the EU's role in conflict resolution. The first part is theoretical(who are the actors?, what are the instruments? Will the Lisbon treaty make a difference? etc.) and the second part is an analysis of the frozen conflicts in Georgia(with the secessionist entities Abchazia and South-Ossetia). Really interesting:-) I've read so much about it by now, you should see my room: paper everywhere!

Although I don't really like the field of International and European law I think your subject is very actual and interesting. Hope you'll finish in time!

Thanks a lot for your dedication, care and kindness. And congratulations for what I'm certain it's a great job. I listened to remasters of yours, and the wonderful job you did on Hammy-79, one of my favorite gigs by the band, and it's been always a great and much better and pleasant listening experience.
Take care and have a wonderful sunday!

lawyers, lawyers... not yet! :-)
Interesting case. I was discussing it with a friend the other day.
Things will change big time the next 5 untill 10 years I think.
This "internet anarchy world" we live in at the moment can't go on forever I think...
Copyright breaches everywhere...
Let's wait for the appeal. I'm curious!

Hi Peter !
It seems Now I'm Here, in the last archive of CD1, is corrupted, it can't be unzipped. I donwloaded it twice but had the same results.
Before re-uploading, can someone tell me if they have the same results ?
Regards,
Olivier,
