1986-06-21 Mannheim, Germany - 2-source compilation

Hi there,

does anybody have some knowledge about what is the best existing recording of Mannheim 1986? Done under pressure? I have the double silvers Queen reigns the world which is very clear and almost excellent sound recording directly from radio broadcast? Is there any even better recording available?

BTW just found a still runnig link for the support by Gary Moore on the same concert in Mannheim playing "Wishing well" isn't it ironic...?

I just finally listened to it today and I want to notice that the small bit of Love Of My Life intro is missing.

May I repeat it again, the bit of Love Of My Life intro is cut. Can anybody please fix it?

I just listened to that song and I didn't notice any cut (I compared it with both sources I used)

Valery are you talking about the "effect" which happens around 1:00 ? If yes, it's not a cut, it's just a quite drastic change of audio source. Or are you talking about something different ?

Yup, you're right ... half the intro is missing.

Any chance it can be fixed?

OK something EXTREMELY strange is with my 01 - Love Of My Life.flac file from "Done Under Pressure In Germany".

When I play it in Winamp or VLC it plays the FULL intro.
When I open it in Cool Edit Pro (the editing program I'm using for many many years for all my projects), the intro is TRUNCATED - the same which you hear in this share.
Seriously, WTF ?

Could somebody please upload for me a fully working LOML flac or wav file from DUPIG ? I will fix it
