so this version is better? we should all download this and not that other version that came on dime and now is on QZ as well?

This version has a bit of tape damage and on screen characters. I have a better version recorded myself normally reserved for trading purposes. I will try to upload although I'm sure this will confuse the issue even more.

ok, thanks for quick reply. i think we all would be very grateful if you could upload your version, you can call it "the definitive version" or something like that and say that it is the best quality so far so there won't be any confussion

This is amazing,Iv waited 20yrs to see a decent copy of this show as it wasnt shown in my area at the time and suddenly THREE versions of it all appear within a week lol
This version is far superior to what I had but I wouldnt say no to an even better version if Mr Kurgan would generously upload the one he has.
Big Thanx to all who has shared their many versions

Ok I'll post a megaupload announce link here soon.
It will be titled cross meltdown from kurgans vault (definitive claims can never be justified)
For the record I think it's 1st or 2nd generation as I can't remember if I edited out adverts off air (I did have two machines for editing purposes back then). Unfortunately these were only linear audio machines.
Lineage is either
Analogue mono TV broadcast > Sony betamax C9 > Verbatim DVD+R Dolby Digital 2.0 256kps
or
Analogue TV broadcast > Sony betamax C9 > Sony betamax C9 >Verbatim DVD+R Dolby Digital 2.0 256kps
NB - Betamax only lost the battle against VHS for one reason, and it certainly had nothing to do with quality.

Thank you Kurgan, you are most kind
I remember the good old betamax tapes,as I recall they were a smaller size than vhs tapes
Betamax was always known for being better quality so this should be a good recording [/img]

Ok Dodger, seeing as you waited 20 years, it will be dedicated to you!
I'm full of regret because I let my original, 'straight from the TV', VHS tape go when I sold off the bulk of my Queen collection in the early 90's (to a well known Queen buyer in Holland I recall). It was *perfect* quality and I wish I'd never parted with it.

But you sold it for profit, tough luck daddio!
