I for one absolutely love Roger's young voice. I think there are very few rock vocalists that can sing and scream with his skill at the same time. Fight From the Inside isn't a masterpiece, but I like the guitar groove, and he sings the hell out of it. Even crappy songs like More of That Jazz benefit from his incredible voice.

Rog was a rocker. Freddie belts the first part of Rock It (Prime Jive), but his voice is so smooth that I think Roger's rasp gives it more of an edge. I think his voice was the third most important part of Queen's sound. Freddie's voice being number one, Brian's guitar number two, but the drummer that could hit any high note thrown at him was very essential to their unique combination. In the Lap of the Gods is a great example, as is the opera part of Bo Rap. Queen was not Queen without his vocals - harmony or lead.
