I confirm the story - the guy who uploaded Rosario has got in touch with me and confirmed this is all he has.
Jim Jenkins has several previously unheard tapes - but from time to time he trashes some when he cleans the house - he's not really a Queen fan anymore. He was very kind to me when we met in Liverpool some years ago so I didn't feel like persuading him to give the tapes to me. I just told him he should keep them for future generations but I don't know if he did that :) He had some nice recordings from the Crazy tour if I remember well.

Oh my god, nice recordings from the Crazy tour! If there's something I want to hear then it are nice recordings from the Crazy tour.

Isn't there a way we can contact Jim and ask him about this, carefully?

THANKS VERY MUCH!!! I live in a town next to Rosario, and this tape is very special for me (the Queen concert nearest to my home, tough I wasn't born). I always thought that no one recorded this concert.
A man who learnt how to teach, but forgot how to learn. A la grande le puse cuca!!

[i]Believe me this may not be the case, this is the story.according to what this guy says:around 2002 a man came to his work(he films events and all that stuff)with a cassette and wanted it to be ripped into CD,moffwalter(this is the name of the person who uploaded it)asked the guy what he wanted to do with the tape cos it was very rare,he just asked that he "found it somewhere in the house" and "just" wanted to listen to it so he did rip the tape into cd and keep the copy only in mp3,now the cassette doesn´t exist anymore.
Jim Jenkins is on facebook. Several Queenzone members are facebook friends with him.
Could be a way to contact him.

I definitely don't think that's a good idea.  Jim will then be less inclined to help out if people are barraging him with messages for old tapes.

One person should delicately do what they can.  Anything more could make things even worse.

You have a website about Queen live and he saw many Queen concerts. It could very well be that he has other nice things to add to your site(apart from the recordings). So maybe you can contact him to have a chat:-)

True, but plenty of other fans are on his facebook, so one of them can ask.  From that perspective, I'm one guy too many.

Those other fans might not have a good reason to ask, apart from the fact they'd like to hear the recordings:-) It could be obvious to him why they ask it(a reason that could make him doubt their intention as a friend), while in your case it could be regarded as information for your site.

If I were not aware of your site and someone would point me towards it I'd think I'd be impressed that someone is putting so much effort in listing up all Queen live recordings(I'm now impressed too of course;-)so that would immediately alter my attitude towards this person.

But Martin is among them... so if he can't get anywhere, then nobody can.

In that case, I agree with you entirely:-)

Hi, first of all, sorry my english. Second, thanks for the comments. The "story" about the audio cassette of Rosario it's driving me crazy. Please, be gentle. I'm not a collector of any kind, i'm not interested on it, but...maybe still exist the original CD copy...i promise you i will be in touch with the cassette owner.

Some data: The Hero: Jesús Rivas - The ripper: Walter Covacevich (moffwalter) - The cassette: Normal tape, 90 min long - The record deck: Sharp - The rip deck: Technics RS-TS515 - Software: Soundforge

Maybe Jesus save me. Bye!

Hi Walter, thank you very much for "leaking" this show .
However if you "find" the original CD, many collectors will be even more happy  [/img]

For Tiger1994, the presenter was NOT Juan Alberto Badia.
