here it's the file kindly shared by Anthony (City-in-the-Sun),
Queen live at the Super Bowl, Sun City, Bophuthatswana, South Africa, October 19th(?), 1984.
speed corrected using GoldWave (increased about a semitone)
new total running time: 44:09
I see no point in splitting this onto tracks since it's MP3 but I might to later on...
now the link to it, enjoy!

I forgot to mention that I included the snippet (pitch corrected too) also shared by Anthony at the Serious discussion forum including Under Pressure, I Want To Break Free (not included at the big mp3 file) and Crazy Little Thing (Freddie's intro speech, also not included on the before mentioned)

Thanks for your efforts.
Is it me or is there something strange going on, particularly in Under pressure? Sounds like some unusual studio overdubs in places.

Does Goldwave allow you to correct the speed of the original MP3 file and then save it back out WITHOUT having to re-encode it?
Many Thanks,
David

You are right - this recording indeed reveals a lot of the 'tricks' that Queen used in those days on stage, to enhance their sound and make them sound bigger. What you hear is no studio trickery, or overdubs, it's just live effects like reverb added to high and/or long notes and harmonies. Not unusual for Queen, or any band, especially in the 80's - it's just that the mix on this night seems to have been a bit rougher then normally. And of course the reason that you hear it so well is the sheer crisp clarity of this tape. ;-)

Thanks dear Jeroen, nice comments, I was pretty sure it was some echo placed there intentionally. Can't remember having heard that during the QPR 2008 shows. It is very useful that this recording is a real nice soundboard, we learn new things with this tape... We now know what this effect sounded like "on stage", it would be nice to check if we hear that similar kind of things on other recordings from the 1984 tour, with an audience tape we'll discover what the effect was when we were in the audience !
By the way, thanks a bunch to Alex for having corrected the speed, I used Windows Media Player tools to correct it while listening, it is even much more enjoyable at the correct speed !

muchas gracias Alex !!! ahora mucho mejor !!!
