Thanks Alex.
I noticed after you'd posted that you listed the new running time, so using soundforge I was able to correct it myself and just save that as a wav ready for CD, with no further encoding.
Hopefully Anthony will upload the rest of it soon (including the last few seconds of NIH).
This is the stuff that ought to be released officially, not Queen in Ukraine. I've got such a buzz from listening to this that I never get from QPR gigs.[/QUOTE]
You're welcome mate!
Maybe you misread that running time part but the reduction on it it's normal when you increase the pitch of a recording (on the opposite, when you decrease the pitch, running time increases)
I really didn't mind on re-encoding the file since it's MP3, I could easily split the file onto tracks, encode to FLAC, etc but I saw no point on it...
I might do that editting stuff for myself and to load it on my mp3 player ;-)
And you're right about QP releases... no offense against any Ukranian people but crowd was so lame that night! Watching that gig like I did when I first go it past year brings you down dude! hehe =P

Actually you should first convert to "lossless" (like 16kbit 44.1 or higher pcm), make the adjustments then post it in flac, without converting to mp3. With converting again to low bitrate mp3, you just added another "lossy" conversion (and again with low bitrate)

Thank you Alex!
Just like yourself, I might split it into tracks so that I can load it into my mp3 player =)
I can't get enough of this concert =D

Hi Miklos! yes, I'm aware of what you say, and in fact, GoldWave decompresses to "loseless" WAV 16kbit, etc, to work on the file, but as I said before, I didn't see the point on keepin' the quality of an MP3 file, I might do what you say later but as the rest of QZers, I'm waiting patiently for a loseless version ;-)
When that time arrives, I'm gonna put all my efforts to improve the quality of this amazing recording.
