I love how the opening lines of Seven Seas is sung. Freddies stressing the words differently. Has he sung it this way in other recordings?

Can someone help a fan from Boston?
I know this may sound unheard of, but some of us still do MP3, is there anyone out there that could post this show as MP3s on Megaupload or Rapidshare? I have an older PC and I just can't seem to get FLAC files to workout.

Thanks,

It takes them about 15 seconds to get going in the Son and daughters bit:-)

Seven seas of rhye is indeed brilliant. I adore that song and this version is surely the best.

It's a fantastic document of this tour, a very necessary document too because there's so little we have for that tour.

Hopefully we'll get a new US 1975 tape some time in the future too:-) It's obvious that for new stuff our hopes should be pointed towards the US and Japan.

Back home... Listening to the recording right now...
I'm speachless.
This is without a doubt the best 70s recording I've ever heard. Amazing quality. Sounds like a soundboard.

Very interesting to hear a 76 Queen show in this quality. I hear details I never heard before on a Queen live recording.

Damn, what a great band it was... Amazing.

Thanks  for this gem!!!...for me, the best 70's recording at the moment. Incredible

Seven Seas Of Rhye is the best version ever!!!!

And Flick Of The Wrist sounds great!

Could anyone speed correct this one? I'm a nitwit as far as remastering etc. goes.

Also, does Brian break a string in the last part of The Prophet's Song?

Thanks Rick for confirming it, I thought I'm crazy when I think it's slightly too fast :-)
Well I can do it if nobody else wants, I just need a "cover artist" to make it as good as possible :-)

It's just completely wrong to repost a show in mp3.  It's the biggest possible slap in the face to the taper and transferrer, as if to tell them that we don't care about nor appreciate the work that went into getting the recording from the venue to us in the best possible quality in the first place.  If they found out that Queen collectors were mp3ing their recordings, they would think, what's the point of doing the work again on another recording in the future?  It has happened before, and as a result, some tapes will never be heard.  I don't think anyone would want this to happen again.

Download FLAC Frontend, and with that you can decode it to WAV.  From there you can burn it to CD instead of reducing the quality.  But if you must... there are plenty of mp3 encoders to be found on the net.  Good luck.

Thank you very much for being surfaced this old show in this quality for burning. It's incredible how good can sound a recording of more than 30 years ago.

I didn't like so much their 1976 tour but now I have to say that this in Boston is one of most beautiful performances I ever heard from Queen in the seventies. Their music was so sophisticated in that period and you can feel how much creative they were.

This recording brings a TEAR to my eye.

Sorry about that! That request was wrong of me and I apologise. It's just that I can't get FLAC to work for me, I tried all that you had mentioned below with no luck. I did however find what I was looking for on another site, and I must say this is the best I have heard in a long time, even if it is of "lower" quality!

cheers.

I hate to ask, but would anyone be kind enough to put this on Mediafire, Rapidshare etc, if only for a few days, so that we who can't get Torrents to work can appreciate Queen at their finest?

Thanks :)
