It's amazing to hear Roger introducing their first top ten hit in England before they start to play "Seven Seas Of Rhye". It's just a small piece of evidence that there was much self confidenceleft to grow...
regards
W.
PS.: Dear Vali,
your cover artwork is absolutely fantastic. Thank you very much.

I've listened to this concert in full for the third time now, and I'm still amazed. Amazed about the great performance with some nice surprises, but first of all about the spectacular sound quality. Yes, it must have been a perfectly mixed PA sound there to get such a recording, but how that guy managed to capture it in this quality is beyond me. Am I halluzinating, or can you really hear the champagne glasses on Freddie's piano jingle when he hits a hard note? Is that the snare drum's wires that I hear vibrating with the bass notes in "ITLOFTG rev."? Never noticed details like that in any audience recording from the 70s or 80s (maybe even 90s) so far, absolutely stunning. On most recordings fine nuances get lost in distortion and/or hiss, but on this one it's all preserved. Being an audience recording, it has the advantage of the realistic atmosphere anyway, but combined with the sound quality of a (semi-) professional soundboard recording this is unbeatable. Hats off and thanks to all involved!

Hummmmmm .... I´ll be waiting for it, Peter ! is it going to be an upload from you or from anybody else?
Just let me know "THIS IS WHAT I MEANT!" once it is posted :)
Btw, many thanks to all of you for your kind words. I want to let you know I´ll start an update of this artwork in the next hours, as Bob has posted a deeper review of the show in his site and, as usual, I like to use his reviews. Just for those of you who like printing the inner pages.
ps: many thanks for posting my artwork in your site, Bob !
