UPDATE!
Today I recieved a PM from the uploader on Dime in wich he confirmed that he was indeed the taper of this show.
Also, he said that he never taped another a Queen show.

OK, nice he answered you !! To complete the info.txt file, can you tell us what his name / surname is ?
So, has he talked about God Save The Queen ? Is it definitely coming from the same concerts ?
Thanks for the transmission of the information.
Regards,
Olivier,
Belgium.
Ps : check your mail box !

I heard back from him too. He says the whole thing is genuine.
So he must have stopped the recorder, thinking the show was over, but pressed record again once he realized something else was being played... which explains the cut at the beginning of GSTQ.
Thank goodness for places like Dime for the tapers to show up and tell the truth and put the lies of certain collectors to rest.

Does anybody know what is a name/nickname of the taper?

So should I burn this master and trash the old version? It's shorter (=faster) than the old version; is THIS the correct speed?

Most of the recording plays a bit too fast (minus GSTQ) - but it is all genuine, as the taper confirmed it.
That said, never trash an old copy. You never know when you might need to reference it for some reason.

[/QUOTE] Yeah, "never trash" - obviously you haven't seen the amount of CD's in my flat :-)

You can always
1) buy a bigger flat
2) give your collection to another collector :-)
