I'd never said anything like this about somebody whom I respect. Are you mad on brainless Queen production? But why do you redicule Freddie's death? Is it a proper subject to laugh? Was it the same funny when you first heard about his death?

You mean the close-up shot where John was jumping on Freddy's casket crying out loud "Noooooo Freddy Nooooo it should've been me" - before he got pulled off by Phoebe and Jim Hutton? That one will be released on the John Deacon retrospective "Fist Through The Window - The Story of Deacon John" biography/dvd-set, which is due for release in 2011 too, to commemorate John 60th birthday. Other highlights on this fantastic collection will be the unreleased DoRo video-compilation too "No Turning Back" and rare studio outtakes from the recording of "Man In The Shadows". This box comes in a beautiful Deacy-amp shaped cardboard box, with the first 100 copies signed by Lenny Azatek.

I think he's being ironic on how many idiotic and personal details Jim gave to us. Of course we are Freddie's fans but there's no reson for us know that he suffered that much in his final moments. I mean, is there anything good in spreading that Freddie broke his bones or he almost drowned with mango fruit? What's the point of putting in on a book?, that's something the inner circle of Freddie only should know. I don't know if that's really true, I like knowing about Freddie's last days, but that's too much for me. A little disrespectful I guess.

Of course we are Freddie's fans but there's no reson for us know that he suffered that much in his final moments. Or you can do something like Patrick Swayze or Farrah Fawcett did and let everyone in on what people go thru because of a terrible disease.  Some are calling that Farrah's best work.

That book says more about what kind of person is Jim Hutton rather then Freddie. Among all the nasty things which was written about Freddie in the press- Jim's book is probably the worst one.

Any one have a part of hutton's book to put here... that say about Freddie's situation??

I know!  Especially the parts of the book that insinuated that Freddie was gay.

Eric Carr, the drummer of KISS, died on exactly the same date. He was replaced by Erik Singer, who also played with Brian on his Another World tour (replacing Cozy Powell)

i didn't like the book!

i was born in 1993 so i don't know what was exactly happen. after i read the others post, i felt down and so much imagination grew in my mind. before i read this, i could noticed the sign of his death by the songs released before the death quiet related to there (hope you know what i mean); like These Are The Days of Our Lives, Show Must Go On, Heaven For Everyone, Made In Heaven; they are an extraordinary main topics of Queen songs. i've heard that Deacon were cried at the funeral, and what i see after i read all the stories about his dead, is John was the Queen member that loved Freddie most, that's the other reason why i like Deacon more than other.
