Okay, the idea of a greatest Greatest Hits album just sucks. But at least do it right:
GH1:
01. Killer Queen
02. Best Friend
03. Bo Rhap
04. Somebody To Love
05. Rock You
06. Champions
07. Don't Stop Me Now
08. Bites The Dust
09. Crazy Little Thing
GH2:
10. Pressure
11. Ga Ga
12. Break Free
13. One Vision
14. Kind of Magic
15. I Want It All
16. Innuendo
17. Show Must Go On
GH3:
18. Days Of Our Lives
19. Heaven For Everyone
20. No-One But You
Too bad this won't happen though. They're not doing things chronologically, and my list has way too few Brian-only credited songs (Roger and John each have more, lol). I don't think my list is that far-fetched though.

I don't care about chronology (and if you did, tracks 3 & 4, and 8 & 9 wouldn't be that way round!), but both SSOR & FBG were bigger hits than DSMN. If you're putting TATDOOL on then BR belongs next to FBG.

Queen's top 20 hits (in terms of UK chart position) would
a) not include Don't Stop Me Now or No One But You (or anything else that got lower than 7 in the chart)
b) be 82 and a half minutes long.
Therefore there'll have to be either a little licence taken, or a little editing. And I can't see it being anything other than both.
Personally I'd have TATDOOL straight out - nobody bought that single to listen to that...
Stick in Seven Seas instead - first hit, sentimental reasons etc.
Out go A Winter's Tale & Breakthru - the general public won't miss them. Bring in No One But You & Don't Stop Me Now.
80 minutes 40. Need to lose at least 90 seconds (I've used all single versions so far).
One Vision gets trimmed a lot, use the Classic Queen edit - 15 seconds saved.
A Kind Of Magic - early fade out - 5 seconds saved
I Want It All - ditto - 5 more
I Want To Break Free - use the album version - 62 seconds saved
Snip a couple more seconds by leaving less gap between tracks. And there you have it - a cash cow!

I wonder if they will even TRY to add something of (little) interest for the fans - like a bonusdisc with the video's for the tracks etc or a new mix of one of the hits (the Tie Your Mother Down mix they originally did for Queen Rocks for example). Probably not.

I normally don't comment on this thing but I feel moved to because I'm so disgusted at this latest exercise.
The hits tumble out of the 3 volumes that already exist, what is wrong with them? The "Platinum Collection" was a great exercise in bringing the hits to the current generation.
Queen have dined out on those hits albums but it still isn't enough for them
The real gems can be found by re-discovering the studio albums, that is where the true joy lies in listening to Queen
There comes a point where they have to stop dredging up past glories and re-packaging them again and again. All I can think of is them lining their pockets at our expense while offering NOTHING new in return.
Surely its a tracklisting we can all burn from our own collections
I love Queen...............LOVE them. But this sticks in the throat.

Sure. I would too. I think a little creative work needs to be done like you said previously to include Don't Stop Me Now & Seven Seas Of Rhye.

Tie Your Mother Down will be there, don't you worry. It's a Brian May song.

I'm sure that songs like Somebody To Love will be skipped so that Brian can force his own tracks on there - ofcourse with the writing credits corrected (TSMGO, IWIA).

It's good to see that the general feeling is not all bad about this release as I thought it would be.
You have got to realise that apart from the USA and Japan (and a few other countries around the world), the last Greatest Hits compilation was way back in 2002 when The Platinum Collection was re released here in the UK. That was 7 years ago!
Is anybody really surprised then that another compilation album is due?
Most big bands are releasing them more frequently than that, and top artists are releasing a compilation after a couple more hits which have been released since the last compilation album!
So it must of been expected?
This will be the first one to include tracks from all three GH albums for the first time here in the UK.
And although Queen are not essentially a 'singles' band.....they have always been known as an album and live band foremost......the singles have done exceedingly well over the years, not just with the fans but also with radio and TV, so this compilation is aimed at the general public who will buy this album as a reminder of all those great hits that have been around for most people's lifetime.
