The feelings of depression rise and unhappy feelings settle in...

To be honest, I personally don't like rainy days and winter overall. I think I'm one of those people whose moods do tend to be affected by winter, and winter is very depressing indeed.

Yeah, it is nice to be comfy and snug with someone. I just try to avoid giving attention to the outdoors when it's rainy, especially if I'm at home and not working. It's miserable, really, and it actually annoys me that some of my friends don't understand that SOME people do get affected by weather mood-wise :-/
I'd be miserable, too, Dark, cause it's probably 50 degrees below zero where you live. ;-)
One of you is from Australia, the other one from Canada... Is it the same weather in both countries? Curious... Talking about winter- for me the worst is to wake up early when it's dark. Hate it...

Its a lack of vitamin D, which the sun provides you with in the summertime.
Taking a vitamin D supplement in the wintertime helps to ward off the winter blues.

It is a condition known ironically as SAD. Seasonally Affected Disorder.
I get it myself too. Anything that helps is good in my book.
I hate the sun too, so that's me screwed.

I love the sun. I do hate it when it gets oppressively hot, like today, though. Of course, that's pretty much every day here this time of year. [/img]
