If Queen Were to hold their own festival, who would be at it?

What i ask is, if Queen had their own Glastonbury/Isle Of Wight/Woodstock shindig, who do you think they would choose as performers. I personally have no idea, besides Queen, who would play. Maybe the Beatles if they were still around as Brian has said that he thinks there's noone better.

That is a perfect list of acts! Add the Stones (Brian Jones-era) and it would be awesome! Im not so sure, even though im a HUGE Maiden and Metallica fan, other than Brian, im not so sure that the others are very big metal fans. I know Roger likes prog rock so I think RUSH would be a great choice as well.

How abouts Elvis if he were alive ?  I only suggest that cos they did Crazy Little Thing Called Love in basically a Elvis type way.  Just a suggestion lol

The Cross. Plain and simple, should be at the show too. Foo Fighters as well since they are such huge Queen fans and "Queen", as Brian and Roger call themselves, have such a good relationship with them. Brian is even on one of the songs on their 2003 album One By One. I saw the Foo's in January of '08 and it exceeded my expectations in every way. Great band. Very good ticket prices IMHO.

Most people only know the Mick Taylor stuff or Miss You, Beast Of Burden or Start Me Up. Damn shame. Pre-Beggar's Banquet Stones are a different band to the more commonly known material of theirs from the 1970's. The Last Time is a great song of theirs from 1965. Check It out!

I'd certainly throw Def Leppard into the mix too. Clearly inspired by Queen and Joe's good friends with Mr. May.

In response to sexmachine: I love the Taylor era as well and I think that Mick T actually probably made the most influential addition to the Stones in there entire canon of work (Look at Exile, Sticky Fingers and 1973 Euro Tour boots) but the Brian Jones era was a different style that I think might have influenced Queen as they were part of the British Invasion w/ The Beatles, Gerry/Pacemakers etc.
