I hate to break it to you, but Queen is not the only band worth listening to (I know it's a matter of opinion, and we could argue this for hours/days/weeks/months I'm sure, but let's just assume that I'm right... which I am). As far as I'm concerned, Muse is a great band.
I'm really sorry if I sound like an asshole, I just get really burnt out over Queen fans who are constantly nit-picking over other musicians because they either sound nothing like Queen, or they admit to liking Queen okay, or they're obviously influenced - and therefore completely ripping them off, or whatever. I think from age 6 to about age 14 I only ever listened to Queen and absolutely nothing else, and I'm still a massive snob in some areas. So I've been where you are to some extent. But take some deep breaths and repeat after me: Queen is just a band... they're awesome, but they're just a band... they're just a band...
Again, sorry if I sound like an asshole. I'm aiming more for dry humor/snark than actual hostility (and if it helps, Freddie was notorious for having dry humor. Or am I not allowed that because Freddie had it first? I kid, I kid! Joking!)

I agree.
I also only listened to Queen between the ages of 10 and 16 or something and I was a snob on that regard too.
I'm glad I'm past that stage now and I can appreciate and enjoy other artists' music without comparing it to Queen.

I loved Black Holes, but their other albums (including the new one) contain a lot of songs that sound the same. I really like the band, but the songs are very predictable for the most part. This new album - I could almost predict where the chords and melody would go. Nice tracks, but I was hoping for more.
Don't get me wrong - I really think they have great potential and have done great work. "Feeling Good' is an outstanding cover. But outside of Black Holes, I don't thing they've created a great album. I'm hoping for more out of these guys in the future. Way too much talent and creativity to make albums of 7 songs that sound the same, IMHO.

I think "O.K Computer" is way better than any album by the band which Radiohead was said during a time to be a copy of: Pink Floyd.

What!!! That's preposterous! I know everyone's entitled to their own opinion but still...it's Pink Floyd!

OK Computer is great, and The Bends is great as well. But are they better than Dark Side or Wish You Were Here? Hahahahaha!!!!!
Who said Radiohead is a copy of Pink Floyd? Their first album was a weak copy of Nirvana, and their best albums were a mix of the Beatles, Nirvana, U2 and Jeff Buckley with some cool twists as well. Great records, but their influences dominate, whereas Floyd was almost always breaking new ground.
Since OK, they have set new standards in boredom. I can't see what anyone sees in this band anymore.
