I cry when i listen to These Are  the Days of Our Lives and Love of my Life. The video for These are the Days make me cry like a baby. All of the later  vids when Freddie was really sick and you could tell make me cry. IT's so very sad.

"Love of My Life" (Queen ANATO version) and Brian's "Another World" were the only two that caused me to totally fall apart the very first time I heard them.

Other notable weepies :

"Somebody to Love" (the ending, for some reason, after the falsetto "to" and melisma on "love," when the bass comes back in, and onward to the end.  I have no earthly idea why...)

"These are the Days of Our Lives."  (I must confess that the song alone doesn't do it - but the song in conjunction with the video does, however.)

Okay, okay, I guess I'll have to add "No One But You" - from Brian's "There's a face at the window," and onward from there.

ETA:  Oh, crap - how could I have forgotten "In My Defence?"  From the "What on earth..." right on through 'til the end.

I rarely actually cry listening to music, but Love of My Life in Live Aid and for some bizzarre reason Tao Torriette have brought me very very close.  Both basically just because of their haunting beauty.  In Love of My Life the beauty of the song combined with the simplicity of the outfits and performance and in Tao Torriette just the sound of Freddie's voice is unbelievable and the piano is so so sad in places.  I know its not a sad song at all, but it always makes me feel very wistful and almost sad even though its one of my favourite songs.

"Love of My Life" in Live Aid? Are you sure? :op

Yes, I do mean in Live Aid.  It doesn't make sense, does it?!  :)  It doesnt always make me cry or even feel like it, but it has several times.  I think partly it may be because that was (to me anyway) one of the most exciting and amazing performances I've seen so maybe it made me a bit emotional because of how well Freddie is or something?  I dunno!
Just thinking now and reading some other posts reminded me, Who Wants to Live Forever is really sad too, not sure if i actually cried though.  And There Must Be More to Life then This, but again, i don't think I actually cried.

Now I'm confused. As far as I know the song wasn't actually performed at Live Aid. They did Is This The World We Created, but Love Of My Life....

I hate to say it, but it really doesn't make sense, my dear. Queen didn't play "Love Of My Life" in Live Aid. Are you referring to We Are The Champions, maybe? Or "Is This The World We Created" - Freddie and Brian did the latter in Live Aid - Brian is on a chair playing the guitar so that's maybe what's misguided you.  :- )

I think it's more likely she's talking about Live At Wembley '86.

Oops, I was really tired when I posted that at first and then just automatically repeated it in the second post.  (i said i was stressed in the random thoughts thread!!!)  I meant, of course, Is This the World We Created.  I don't know how I managed to write the wrong song twice, sorry about that!  Of course i missed the power of the original performance, because I had heard the song many times before seeing it in Live Aid, but it is so beautiful there.  Anyway, sorry about that, next time i'll try to make more sense!  :)

The entire MIH album bevause it is like after a family member dies, everyone gathers around and discusses the good times of that person's life and why it had to end. That's at least what happenned when my kick ass, biker aunt died from Pancreatic cancer last year. I never saw her in her demise period, so im grateful I got to hang with her extensively a month before she got it. Don't Try So Hard, These Are The Days... and The Show Must Go On. They make me cry inside my mind.

The way I see the last 3 albums:

The Miracle: This is kind of like when you find out someone is going to die but you still hold out hope they will make it and try to ignore the illness by spending time/having fun etc. Making the most of your time with them.

Innuendo: This is when you usually realize that they will not make it despite all your praying/hoping. This is usually when you start to grieve a fair bit because you know there is no way the person will make it and that deat h is inevitable.

Made In Heaven: This is the "Celebrate That Persons Life-Post Death" Period. The people remember the person after their passing, pay their respects, and remember their good times in life.

Sorry for the long post. ^_^

How Can I Go On; Guide Me Home; Don't Try So Hard; These Are The Days Of Our Lives (nostalgia gets me every time); Still can't really listen to Show Must Go On.

Obviously one doesn't cry every time.

What never fails to make me cry is adding up the years (or rather lack of them) between Live At Wembley and the video for These Are The Days...HEARTBREAKING.
