Actually, atheism is based upon faith just as much as religion is. Religious people believe that there is a god, atheists believe that there is no god. Neither side can offer any objective proof of their position, but they still regard it as being "the" truth.

I don't think believing something rational and believing something irrational is the same thing.

If you are eating an apple, and I say it's a pear and even though you say it's a apple you can't prove me wrong.. Sure you can look it up on wikipedia but it's not convincing. It's just plain rediculous.

One can only hope that you, as christians, will eventually realize that we, as non-christians, don't want to hear how your god will save us any more than we want to hear how allah will provide virgins for martyrs.
