I rarely take YouTube comments to heart... well, at the very least I rarely respond to them (especially the particularly nasty ones). Frankly, I'm shocked I've only had two bad comments to date!
A lot of people on YouTube, from what I've encountered, have too much free time (and that's really saying something if I'm saying someone who isn't me has too much free time). It's best to ignore them and/or delete their comments altogether.

I have to phone someone during the week who i find extremely difficult to deal with (like, really dificult) so I'll chant this to myself. :)
