Did Freddie's vocal nodules limit his range live? Or did he purposely sang lower because he knew he couldn't lose his voice during a long tour/show.

no Question it did effect his voice. Not in the studio, but live it effected his voice big time.
Yeah, but some reason from the Crazy Tour to the Hot Space tour, Freddie would "go for it" when he had a high note.
yea, that early 80's freddie was unstoppable live.
Completely agree! His vocals on Rock Montreal and Live at the Bowl were amazing!

Apparently the women from fleetwood mac used to have it blown up their ass for that reason. Or it could just have been for the sheer debauchery...
Oh, that Stevie Nicks!
According to Mick's book, Stevie actually had a "hired hand", if you'll pardon the pun, who administered her coke anally during the Tango In The Night tour. No details on exactly how that was administered.
It made me think. If Freddie had done this, perhaps he could have hit those high notes with much more authority.
So, guys, the next time the prostate exam comes up, try singing Little Lies.

His voice was affected by the amount he swallowed.

I know freddie said that, but I don't believe him. He smoked because he had no control. Eventually that lack of control caught up too him.
