One FINAL comment about the audio.
Some TV channels use multiple sound tracks for some shows, e.g. ZDF sometimes uses 1 MP2 128 kbps, 1 MP2 256 kbps and 1 AC3 stereo.
In such case my box would record all of those tracks (because it stores the full stream with all substreams) and I have the choice which tracks I use when multiplexing for DVD.
However this BBC broadcast only came with 2 MP2 256 kbps stereo sound tracks which were identical as far as I could tell, so I used one of those for multiplexing to DVD.
It doesn't make sense to "record as LPCM" as that would actually be a conversion (similar to converting mp3 to flac) that does not add any quality but just makes the resulting file bigger!
So this share is the best possible capture both video and sound-wise in the smallest possible size.
What more do you want?
Regarding MPEG1 Level 2 sound, this format conforms to the DVD audio standard and also is the most commonly used audio format in satellite broadcast (DVB-S).
Greetings,
Frank

no slight intended. not in the least. i also have a cable signal that i record on pvr and am more than happy when someone can upgrade an offering off my tradelist. your efforts have been noted more than once. there's no way of knowing what's going to pop up... especially considering how fast you got your version out there. cheers

Not the finest words to choose, after my attempt. (if I read correctly between the lines - forgive me when I'm wrong)
I can only say I did the best I could while there was no other share available in the short time after the BBC broadcast. (presuming lots of fans would have recorded this show).
Hey buddy, you got it for free you know. I come from the time where you had to wait a year or more for a new Queen album to hit the shops and had to save money for it or to see their shows.
Believe me, I think the internet is one of the greatest things of our time, considering how we can share precious stuff like a lot of us do here on Queenzone. It often amazes me what brilliant stuff people come up with. But it also makes us want MORE MORE MORE even before we have digested what has just been offered to us.
But sure, enjoy what's given to you. You should.
I certainly do and really appreciate the newer (sattelite) version. Thanks to the uploader!

Thanks a lot for this.
Is there artwork on the horizon?

Umm I don't think it's necessary since the official release will be up soon, surely next year but I'll give it a go and some simple artwork for it when I'm done with others I have in mind.

Hi,
The doesn't seem to download for me. Can anyone help?
I've got a few torrents downloading, but this one can't find any seeds. Interestingly enough my username is also absent from the Torrent list at the top of the page.
Has anyone had similar difficulties?
Otherwise, thanks for sharing the file. Not living in the UK I would have otherwise missed out entirely on seeing this show.
Cheers

If you can't connect to QZ for some reason, someone upped this at TTD:

It's not necessary but nice to have a cover with the version's details and set list.

Regarding the audio on this DVD: this is also the exact audio of the BBC broadcast, so no loss, re-encoding or anything.
The audio is MPEG-1 Level 2 (often named MP2), which is similar in quality to MP3.

The audio is surprisingly good. The video is excellent. Amazing show, amazing upgrade.
I had forgotten how good this performance was. This is Queen at its finest. For me anyway. I enjoyed their
fist five albums.
