Very sad picture :(

It never ceases to amaze me the morbid fucks on here that are obsessed with Freddie's declining health and appearance in his last years/months. I hope that whoever posts stuff like this has somebody out there one day that feels its their duty to plaster pics of you're dying ass so people may comment on it.

i think it was INNUENDO1990 who started it all off again in the past year or so. Kept going on and on about it and i agree totally with you

They have no place here, especially when its been discussed over and over for years, and I'll say what I damn well please. You want to go look at dying people or look at dead people either visit a hospital's intensive care unit or go dig up one of your relatives and do a post on it...dismissed!

Oh file the supercilious crap.  Any Queen fan that has never seen a candid photo of Freddie in his last months and claims to be too high minded to want to is [i]lying[/i]. The way this photograph was taken, and the degree to which Mercury and others are hunted is another topic, but the man has been gone for 18 years and this picture can't hurt him anymore.

The course of Freddie's disease and his steep physical decline is part of the Queen story and a rare testament of an artist's dedication to his art. We've heard a thousand times that he sang until he simply couldn't any longer, and a photo like this gives great emotional weight to our understanding of that. So if you decide the curiosity is 'morbid' you only get to decide that for you, not for everybody else.
