talk about underated, bring back that leroy brown is one of Queens underated gems.  I think some don't get it because it doesn't have loud drums and guitars.   Brilliant tune!....One of my favorites.

I completely agree! [/img]  I love BBTLB. It, along with Flick of the Wrist, really showcased Freddie's creativity, sense of fun, and emerging brilliance as a writer. It's just a truly great song, and the musicalship, not just from Freddie (who is particularly magnificent) is outstanding. A truly amazing song from a truly brilliant album.

Each time when I listen to it I have a feeling that this song isn't from 70s but something like 30s- 40s.
The same with Seaside Rendezvous.

Generally- a good, light track.

Loved it from day one. But, for me, the best song Lord Teeth ever wrote is Lily of the Valley. Precious!
John hated Hot Space. Frederick's favourite singer was not Paul Rodgers. Roger didn't compose 'Innuendo.' 'Bohemian Rhapsody' hasn't got 180 vocal overdubs.

Yeah, i remember in '75 thinking that queen had made a major blunder in not releasing BBTLB as a single.

sheer heart attack might be Queen most influencial album, along with opera.

I love this song soooooooooooooooo much!! In my opinion, its the best song Fred ever wrote. And thats saying a lot, as he has some amazing songs. Its so cute and camp that you just can't not love it!!
One night Roger was in a foul mood and he threw his entire bloody drumset across the stage. The thing only just missed me - I might have been killed. - Freddie Mercury

It's precisely because of tracks like BBTLB, Seaside R, Good Company, even (to a certain extent) Who needs you, that I got into the band

I didn't really appreciate the heavy stuff at all when I was a child (perhaps still dont)

It's tracks like these that put Queen in the same league as The Beatles - hidden away half way through side 2 there's ususally a hidden gem which (if the band was brave enough to release) could change their public profile completely

To their credit - they DID have the courage to release I'm Going Slightly Mad!!

My jaw literally dropped the first time I saw a live video of this song.  Especially the bit where Brian goes nuts on the uke.  Top class.

Any live version of this song reminds me that I'm watching real musicians having real fun on stage. You can actually feel the positive energy

It comes from a top class album. SHA is in my opinion Queen's most varied and interesting album to date. My favourite is In The Lap Of The Gods. God, it's so clever and Roger shines in that one. I even like She Makes Me. Love May's singing and its eerie atmosphere.
John: "It's the one thing I wish I could do - sing."

I don't believe my eyes. Somebody here actually likes She Makes Me?

Thank You!

slightly mad is awsome, I just wish it was a bigger hit.  Leroy brown could have made a good single, but you could also say that about  lap of the gods.

Queen in their prime right there.
