I have seen various postings saying that it wasnt queens best concert and so on but i personally think they are very good, fair enough Freddie's voice cracks a little bit but he still performs pretty well as do the others

You can tell on the dvd though where the overdubbing has been done on certain songs

I like all the extra stuff on disk 2 though

the first show from queen that i saw, it holds a special place for me.   wembley has a larger than life feel,  but After watching their earlier shows like the early 80's,  and way back to the 1974 to 1977 gigs I realized that the 86 concert wasn't close to their best.  Still a good show, and a great dvd with all the extra stuff on disc 2.

If we're talking about the record DVD's, then the Montreal one is the best. Bootlegs? Newcastle 1979, Hammersmith, 1979, Oakland 1980, and a few of the european Hot Space gigs!

Back on topic, I think Wembley is a very good show. Even though Freddie's voice was quite hoarse (and did those overdubs), and Brian's nerves manifested themselves a couple times, I think it's great!

Wembley 86 was good.Knebworth 86 was better.

But Glasgow late 74 was best.Just my opinion.

For the sound and especially Freddies voice I would prefer my old Budapest VHS. But Wembley has the better crowd. Freddies voice seems to be better on many magic shows which are available on bootleg as it has been at Wembley.

wembley was a good show - the setlist was a greatest hits approach, but the performance was not A+, maybe by queen's standards a B-.
Knebworth was awesome. a definite A+

It's a shame that last show will never get released.  I agree with the b+ rating.

yes it is. obviously Queen should see the significance now of Freddie's last stand.
I was at Wembley (saturday) and Knebworth and (if i'd only been to wembley i'd have been delighted) but having been to both the difference between the two makes you see (with Knebworth) how brilliant they could be live.

i think there was almost a feeling of "right this is the last gig, let's go out with a bang"....blinding

it's a shame that queen couldn't release a dvd boxset "queen thru the years" four gigs showing the progression of the band....

Why won't they release the Knebworth gig on DVD? There is an obvious HUGE market for it! Maybe they're waiting until the 20th Anniversary of Freddie's death, or something?

I really like the Budapest gig, (I wish there was more of their 'behind the scenes' stuff, though!) but the audience/audience participation was much better at Wembley!

In relation to the topic of this thread, I am interested to know who supported Queen on the 'Magic' tour, particularly the Wembley shows?? Was it *gulp* Status Quo?
