Why won't they release the Knebworth gig on DVD? There is an obvious HUGE market for it! Maybe they're waiting until the 20th Anniversary of Freddie's death, or something?

I really like the Budapest gig, (I wish there was more of their 'behind the scenes' stuff, though!) but the audience/audience participation was much better at Wembley!
In relation to the topic of this thread, I am interested to know who supported Queen on the 'Magic' tour, particularly the Wembley shows?? Was it *gulp* Status Quo?

Maybe because they don't have it ?

wembley - the Alarm, INXS, and Status quo.
all were good. was first time i saw INXS and they were bright and fresh and new think they were promoting their "listen like thieves" album (also saw them on their kick tour after they took off). The alram were fun - lots of anthem stuff...68 guns, where were you hiding etc. and as you ask about quo.....i'd seen them three times before that gig...always a little dull....but on this occasion...they came on in a rainstorm and just made the stadium bounce...i am sure wembley was about 400yrd further down the road when they finished their set an hour later.....quality support band
knebworth - belouis some, big country status quo.
day started great - traffic james on motorway with waterfights in the queues as people left thei cars and threw "water bombs" in plastic bottles, cups through car windows and sun roofs...at least it made the time pass till we left the motorway.
don't remember belouis some...think we were still parking half a mile away at that point.
big country were much like the alarm - all anthem stuff,( and both were good choices for getting the crowd singalongs)....status quo again were good - but did a shorter set - due to having to fly to holland or somewhere to try and set some record for number of gigs in a day or something

Also i was wondering why Brian did not sing the 1st bit of Who wants to live forever like he did in the video?
Freddie does it very well though

Its something that i can watch again and again without getting bored
I just love it. Yes I know that Freds voice was not at its best, but it was amazing. I just love it. I watched it about 6 times in the past 3 days lol XD. They all performed brilliantly. Wow is all I can say.

To be honest, there were much better gigs on the Magic Tour. Like Mannheim, Budapest, Knebworth Park ...

I wasn't alive then. :( I do watch some on you tube though, and I agree, but I can never see the full gigs
