My view? I was standing to the left of the small camera station pointing straight at the front of the stage.
Don't shun it!

Watched on Sky last night...Loved Axil the boys from GNR  Were totally out of it at the end singing We are the champions at the end.
I loved David Bowie and Annie Lennox and Extreme's Set which should not have been cut from the dvd.
Brian Singing Too much love will kill you was toooooo emotional i dont know how he kept it together, very emotional.
Also my guilty little pleasure of James H singing SCC i love him!!!
Brilliant Tribute concert but i sorta feel that after it everyones careers went down the toilet in some respects...Maybe there was a curse, but then again maybe it was just an end of an era and that music became less popular with the explosion of dance and crap like that in the 90's!!!

I Loved this concert on the day and when we got home the following day I couldn't wait to watch the live broadcast my parents had taped for me. I thought it was even better because you got all the close ups and different angles. It was a fantastic day and was captured really well by the BBC.

When the double video came out I was a bit disappointed to see how much had been cut, but it was nice to have a better visual and sound than before from the TV. The DVD was fantastic too and a good upgrade from VHS, but again there was too much missing from the original broadcast.

Anyway I still have the original VHS tapes (now transferred to DVD too) and can watch them whenever I want to.....a brilliant gig with a steller line up (at that time anyway).

I would love them to do something like this again, with todays top bands and artists that were influenecd by Queen and Freddie on the bill. You never know.
