a collaboration between TM and roger+brian would lead to the closest thing to a Queen sound. It would sound 100 times more like Queen progression than the latest album.
But your drum machine is so much more accurate than Roger. No need for him. And the guitar playing... well, perhaps Brian could play some ukulele with you to give your music more depth??

ive already explained why we use drum machine for demos, its not easy to get access to studio so its easier to use drum machine for the moment, live we have a real drummer, besides that doesnt matter, what MATTERS is the music, the melodies, riffs etc and yes a collaboration between TM and brian and roger would be the closest thing to a Queen sounding album, fact.

Paul Stanley - lead vocals + rhythm guitar
Gene Simmons - lead vocals + bass guitar
Brian May - lead vocals + lead guitar
Roger Taylor - lead vocals + drums

Lots of egos, but that would sound great.
Brian and Roger are respected, world class musicians.  Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons are in a famous band.  Never happen, at least Paul Rodgers had credibility in the world of music, Paul and Gene, not so much.  If any.
Brian May - Guitar, screwed up face, thinking about space

Roger Taylor - Drums, thinking he doesnt look as old and fat as he is, still being cool regardless

Anyone else - doesn't matter who, will still be shit. Call it a day FFS.

Paul and Gene don't need Brian and Roger.  They have a hugely successful band who's still productive (new studio cd "Sonic Boom", which is great; very successful "Alive/35" World Tour 2008/2009; upcoming "Sonic Boom" World Tour 2010/2011).

To be honest Brian and Roger aren't in good enough shape to hang with Paul and Gene.  Paul and Gene have kept themselves in shape.  I can't say the same about Brian and Roger.  Saw them on the Q+PR "Return Of The Champions" tour, had a great time, but there's a reason for all of those breaks during the show.

As far as credibility goes, go ask

Metallica
Megadeth
Alice In Chains
Stone Temple Pilots
Pearl Jam
Nirvana
Soundgarden
Poison
Motley Crue
WASP
Buckcherry
Goo Goo Dolls
Tears For Fears
Garth Brooks
Toad The Wet Sprocket
Gin Blossoms
Yoshiki
Faith No More
Helmet
Tool
Marilyn Manson
Nine Inch Nails
Lenny Kravitz
Anthrax
Dinosaur Jr.
Extreme
Lemonheads
Mighty Mighty Bosstones
Pantera
Slaughter
Mr. Big
The Melvins
Kings X
Dream Theater

among many others, who influenced them to pick up an instrument and form a band.

The answer is KISS.

I'd rather have Eric Singer be the drummer over Roger Taylor any day.  Eric drums circles around Roger.  That's why
Brian asked Eric to be the drummer on his solo tour and to perform with Queen a few times.
Brian May: "I like KISS a lot. I have a great regard for KISS 'cause it's all-out. They just had their vision, they had their dream, and they damn well went for it."

Sure, but KISS music is fantastically juvenile, neither Paul or Gene are held in any regard as musicians, and there has always been doubt if they even play live.  I know everybody does overdubs for live albums, but KISS' career took off with Alive.  If they played 20% of what ended up on that record I'd be shocked.  FWIW, fantastic showmen, excellent businessmen, decent songwriters, but pandering to the stupid young boy market forever turns me off of them.  That's just me though.  But if we're talking about sharing a stage with Brian and Roger as far as musicianship goes, Paul Stanley is perhaps a decent rhythm guitarist in a live situation, Gene Simmons is an adequate bassist.  If you believe they're held in the same regard as Brian and Roger even today, I can't answer that with anything but incredulousness.

Paul Stanley played the role of the Phantom in "Phantom Of The Opera" in Toronto for two different runs (he was asked back because his run was a major success; I should know, I saw it twice).

There is no doubt that they play live.  They've always played live in concert.  If someone is extremely ill, the show is postponed or in some cases Paul or Gene sing all of the songs (Paul can do this with no problem; Gene on the other
hand, not so much).

Also false info about what is live and what was fixed in the studio on the "Alive" lp.  FYI, "Alive" has far less overdubs than the cut and paste "Queen Live Killers".

Paul is considered one of rock's best singers.  Eric Carr and Eric Singer are two of rock's best drummers.

Nothing juvenile about this

Try listening with your ears instead of your eyes.

Go see a KISS show this year.  Paul and Gene
bring it every time.  Brian and Roger
could never keep up the pace.  Brian would be
standing there staring at his shoes and Roger
would be all out of breath.

KISS continues to rock after 37 years.

Queen died in 1991.

BTW, if you want to listen to something
"fantastically juvenile" try listening to
"Fat Bottomed Girls" or "Bicycle Race".

I'm not going to sway you Skip, as you're a big KISS fan, and shouldn't be ashamed about it.  Unless you're over 14 years old :)  For my money, KISS were fantastic showmen, average musicians (original lineup) and their demographic was the teenage boy discovering girls and hitting puberty market, with sexist, ridiculous songs and videos with no sense of wit in their writing.  Fat Bottomed Girls and Lick it Up (to cherry pick) exemplify this.  FBG is a humorous look at a young guy getting it on with a nanny.  Lick it Up?  Pretty straightforward, no cleverness.  There is more musical genius in Bicycle Race (what's juvenile about it?) than the entire KISS catalogue.  For the record, I spent 10 seconds and came up with this review for Paul Stanley as the Phantom.  Here's a sample, many others like it ) not from KISS fans either as they'd have him being a better singer than Pavarotti.

Obviously, KISS fans seemed to love Mr. Stanley as The Phantom. But with all rationalizations aside, Paul Stanley was nothing to sway your lit cigarette lighter for. At best, Stanley gave an inept performance as the disfigured man behind the mask. And inconsistencies in his performance - both vocal and dramatic - were often the blame for a rather weak portrayal.

Although displaying a wide vocal range, Paul Stanley ultimately didn’t have the sweet, hypnotic voice of a Michael Crawford, or the charismatic Irish tenor of a Colm Wilkinson. Possessing a hoarse and raspy voice, he often sang shakily and was constantly unpleasant to listen to. Vocal delivery was also skimpy on certain phrases and notes (such as the final note in the Finale).

In the dramatic department, his acting (or lack thereof) was mostly uncertain with rigid movements, and an awkward delivery failed to convey much emotion. If anything, it was this limited acting ability that made for an unconvincing Phantom, rather than a less-than-appealing and generally weak singing voice. More often, he seemed to be concentrating on hitting the high notes while trying to act at the same time.

Nonsense.  The producer Eddie Kramer has said the only thing live about Kiss Alive was the drums, while there are plenty of audience recordings of Queen from 1979 that match Live Killers perfectly.

Bicycle Race is far more musically complex than anything Kiss ever wrote.  You're really showing your ignorance now.
