Looking through youtube for covers I came across this.
This person claims to have re recorded every single part of the track from scratch.
Its a big claim to make. I believe it to be a remixed/edited version of the original backing track with added vocals.

It is definitely re-recorded. No use of the original backing track. Yes, the music may sound very close to the original, but if you listen to it closely side by side with the original, it is clearly not exactly the same. Besides, there are no multi-tracks of this song available so how would he have isolated some tracks from the original and then re-recorded others?
So, in conclusion, a talented musician, not a fake!

The only thing he could've done was taking the conga loop from the beginning of the song and use it for his own recording. But also that was remade.

Toby DID indeed play and record all these parts himself. It is very amusing hearing people speaking with such authority about it being a mix of original and recorded parts......
It is a great compliment to him to hear that people feel that he used Queen bits in it as that does show that his effort was worth it. He is a great multi-instrumentist and also very young too......very talented.

Well, EMI are really out of order with that. It certainly doesn't feature "content of EMI", other than it being a cover version.
