Charlie Brown wrote: Hi everyone, i'm curious  as to what you all think about the outcome of the USA vs. Slovenia match. And has it gotten a great deal of attention  in your local media? Thanks.

I thought that USA were denied a perfectly good goal by Maurice Edu.If anything, the Slovenians were doing the fouling.

It was quite an exciting match and USA deserved to win.

Of tonights matches.Cameroon v Denmark match was a good game, even if there were defensive mistakes by both teams that were laughable.Still its good to see the back end of Paul Le Guen(Cameroon manager).Another man on his way home along with Anelka.

In America the supposed "fouling" has been front page news. It would be nice if the official would explain his decision.

In their last meeting, Italy beat NZ by only 4-3. Thus, this will be an interesting match. NZ has nothing to lose, whereas Italy has. Let's see if they can cope with the pressure.

Maurice Edu was the goal scorer for USA.His goal was,in my eyes,a perfectly good one.It was the referee who disallowed the goal. For what reason i dont know.I hope that this decision doesnt cause the USA to be knocked out of the world cup.

Its not the first time he has scored that type of goal though.you see he plays for my favourite team.Glasgow Rangers(Yes.A Scottish team.Just for our overseas QZers)

Congrats to Zebonka and the New Zealand team.

Glad we're not the only ones thinking that our 1-1 tie was the greatest victory ever.

Did anyone else see a photo of several pretty Dutch girls in orange minidresses at the World Cup ? Well apparently they  were part of a advertising stunt by a Dutch brewery. Two women were arrested in Johannesburg for hiring and organizing the girls because South Africa has a law against unpaid adverts at public venues.

Brazil vs Ivory Coast was revolting. We lost Elano, nearly lost Michel Bastos, and they've barely gotten any yellow cards. On the other hand, Kaka got a red card for defending himself.
